Lux's older sister

Chapter 13

"Jess" Niall says in his morning voice. He rolls over. He's the moves the hair out of my face and intwines our fingers together.

"Niall" i say just before opening my eyes a little.

He kisses my neck. "I love you"

"I love you too"

We laid there for about an hour, not saying anything. It was nice. Calm. Happy.

"Its 1'o'clock" he laughs.

"Im going to go take a shower" I slowly get out of bed.

He nods. And dozes off.

I take in capris and a baseball t.

I undress and step into the warm steamy shower. I just stand there. It feels good to let the water just run down run, like its washing away all my problems. But right now it doesn't feel like i have any. Everything is perfect. Having Niall home. Its perfect.

I get out after washing. I wrap the towel that I hung over the shower door.

I reach to grab my clothes on the counter, but its not the clothes i brought in.

Its a dress.

I pick it up. Its a mint sundress. Its gorgeous.

"Do you like it?" Niall walks in the doorway and wraps his hands around my waist from behind and nuzzles his face into my neck.

"I love it"

"Great, get ready, we are going to dinner at 6" he winks.

I let my hair dry. So my natural waves show. I do a crown braid on the top of my head.

I put on red lip stick and do my eye makeup.

"Ready?" He peaks his head into the bathroom not showing what he is wearing.

"Yes" I stand up. His smiles grows big.

"You look beautiful" he walks into the room. He kisses me on the check.

He's wearing a white button up shirt with a bow tie.

"Awee Niall your bow tie" I smile.

I don't know but I love bow ties.

"That was great food" I say as we leave the restaurant.

"Yes, i agree" he laughs.

"Its so beautiful out here" I said looking up at the beautifully light city skyline in the dark.

"I know its your favorite to see the city at night" he says.

I nod.

"And your my favorite" he says.

"What?" I ask. Not knowing exactly what he meant.

"Your my favorite, friend, girl, person." He grabs something from his pocket. He gets down on his knee.

I start to smile a lot, and even cry. I cover my mouth so he doesn't have to see my kidish smile.

"Jessica, I love you. I cant exactly explain how much I do. But I will try." We both let out a little laugh.

"We've been dating for three years now. And I can honestly say that they have been the best three years of my life. And I want there to be more of those wonderful years, With you and me. Us. Maybe one day our family." He grabs my hand.

"I love you so much. Ive traveled to many places with you. And I wanna see where else we go. And I want one of those places to be down the aisle.
Jessica Claire Teasdale , will you marry me?"

"YES, yes, yes!" I jump into his arms as he stands up.

He wraps his arms around me. And swings me around.

Standing me up he puts his hands on my cheek and kisses me.

Standing under the lamp post on the side of the city street.
