Chapter 6 : Meeting A New Friend. Or a New Foe?

As Miro and Shane moves forward in the level 2 of the game, The encountered four-legged snakes who's been released to hunt down players. Meanwhile, while on the move, they ancountered a girl beneath a corner, pleading for help.

Miro: What do you say? Help her?

Shane: I don't know. Maybe let's take a good look first.

Miro: Okay. Let's go.

Meanwhile, Kael, Officer Daigo and Tara is still working on finding clues and signs to whether who aor what is behind the abductions, looking throuh past files of the victims they seek information that can lead them in the way to finding out and revealing the mystery.

Kael: While i'm away. I gathered several datas from each and every victim of the abductions. I found out that 2-5 of the teenagers have a parent or even bot parents serves in the government, in the past or present.

Officer Daigo: Really?

Kael: Yes. look at these. January, 3 Daughters of retired generals were abducted. February, 2 Daughters of Natural Environment Scientists and 2 Daughters of Railway Cooperative Workers were abducted. The same follows with each month.

Officer Daigo: What !? But how come no reports about that?

Tara: That can't be. Don't tell me.

Kael: Right. The government might be behind this. The governmenr are the most powerful entity. They can manipulate these reports and stop it from spreading on-line or anywhere.

Tara: Why? What's the reason behind this?

Officer: What's the government's connection with the abductions. If they are behind this, why? what's the point. what are the trying to do.

Tara: How come i don't know about this. Does this means SIG is with this? *shocked*

Kael: SIG is clearly under the government. And looking at the sides of the story now, if i am correct, they sent you here because you don't know what's "really" happening in SIG, In short, you're just a decoy for SIG to use so everyone will think SIG is with us.

Tara: Fuck. Now it's clear to me why. Out of all fucking SIG agents who's just eating donuts on their desks, i'm the one who was sent here. They'll fuckin' pay.

Kael: Now all we have to do is to investigate by ourselves, government should not know anything about what we're doing. Cause if they did, we're dead meat.

Officer Daigo: Right.

Tara: Where will we start then?

Kael: To the root of all evil.

Tara and Officer Daigo: What ?!

Kael: NeuroLight City Institute for Advance Weaponry and Technology. That's where we'll start the investigations.

Officer Daigo: Right. If there is one place in NeuroLight that has intentions in experiments that'll be the right place.

Kael: Plus. The government gave them 1 billion pesos fund the past year for unknown reason, remember?

Officer: Right. 1 Billion pesos is enough..

Tara: Enough to facilitate an experiment that will use human test subjects.

Kael: Bullseye!

Tara: But why use teenagers? And, children of government past or present employees?

Officer Daigo: We'll answer that as soon as possible.

Miro: Who are you?

Girl: Eh. My name's LuLou Sander. please help me. I got chased by four legged snakes. Then i ran over this trap.

Shane: Let's take a look.

Miro and Shane helped the girl who's trapped in a wall with spikes. Lulou is a petite girl with a bobcat hair with pink highlights.

LuLou: Thanks. ahhhh. free again. thank you *smiles*

Shane: We thought you're somekind of a killing machine. *laughs*

LuLou: That. I guess i'm not. i dont even clearly reme,ber why im here. It's scary. At least you guys are nice, not like that guy i met earlier.

Miro: Guy?

LuLou: Yeah.. i was being chased by monsters, i came accross this guy, i asked for his help but instead he shoot me with his bow. Luckily i dodged it. and escaped both the guy and monsters.

Miro: Samson? The guy who killed another player? *whispers to Shane*

Shane: Probably. Luckily she's still alive.

Miro: So. are we taking her too?

Shane: Most likely. i guess it will not hurt us? three heads are better than two. *laughs*

Miro: Ok, it is decided. Shane and I are friends. and we will help each other to stay alive. Can we trust you to do the same thing for us?

LuLou: Sure !! Oh i would love to be with you guys. you're cool and nice. please... i don't want to die yet..

Miro and Shane took LuLou in their group, wishing they will survive with a better chance. But did they really made the right desicion to take this stranger all of a sudden?
