~*~ Athena's POV ~*~
"Athena make sure Ayra is dressed for this evening" Mother yelled. "Yes mother" I went upstairs to my room seeing the prince and the royal children were being settled in the guest rooms that were in the same location as all of us. We tried to meet their accommodations, the kids were protected in a hidden hallway which was now more public since the royal children were in the same area. The parents were in the main hall that was being patrolled by guards and handmaidens. So I walked down the hall, the hall was narrow and small compared to natural hallways. I looked behind me just to make sure I wasn't in anyone's way as I headed to Ayra's room and I didn't see the man walking into the hall, he caught me and gently pushed me against the wall. My heart stopped and my eyes look at him "I'm so sorry....". It was the man who wore he Hound helm. I blushed hard and couldn't help but stare, he gave me a stare before a glare. "Watch where yer goin'" he started and then recollected himself almost as if his eyes softened at me. "My apologies. I didn't realize you were the Stark girl. Go on ahead." He said and walked off in the other direction in a grunt. I blush and bit my lip before going to Ayra's room. "Ayra it's time to get ready" I knock and she groaned in the other room "no more dresses!" She huffed and I smiled softly "I'll make sure its a darker dress" I tried to coax the girl and she opened the door "okay fine". I walked into the room and I opened her closet small dresses and picked out a dark blue one compared to the periwinkle blue she had worn earlier. I helped her out of the one dress before Ayra totally ruined her hair in the process, I hummed softly to myself as I helped her into the new dress before lacing the back a bit.
"Your humming" she said in almost a confused manner. "What about it?" I stop for a moment and gaze up at her. "Nothing I just...you haven't hummed for a while and I've never seen you seem so happy it's as if you've met.....someone" Ayra turned to me and smirked ear to ear. "Ayra it's not what you think. He's...he's not interested" I said softly and heartbrokenly so. "who is he?" She asked "what is he like?" She continued "what does he look like?". I sighed "Ayra it's not important besides he's probably not interested in highborn ladies anyway, he probably prefers the whores at a brothel or something" I said before standing up "Now no rough play in that dress, you are supposed to look like a proper lady tonight" I smiled a bit and she nodded with innocent eyes. "Good." I kissed the top of her head "I'll come get you before dinner." I walked out before going down the hall again, into my room. My handmaids waiting for me, I smiled and closed the door. "You seem pleasant today my lady" she said to me and I blushed a bit "I guess today has been a better day then the others" I spoke softly and looked away. The other one looked at me as the other one started undoing my hair, she gasps and smiled "THERES A MAN!" I hushed her quickly before my other handmaid freaked out as well "will you hush? It isn't like that" I continued to blush and they were quiet for a moment, I broke down and smiled like an idiot "okay it is a man, but I don't think he's into a highborn or...anyone like me" I said and they giggled "How can any man resist how beautiful you are, look at you Athena" one said and the other nodded softly. "Well you know I'm not like other women or people in general. I'm a freak." I sighed and they let go of my dress for a moment "You are no freak my lady, you are different and it's a gift from the gods. They blessed you in their own ways". I thought about it and grew more worried, what if that man was to see me. What if that man was to see my disease when I hold a fork or spoon this evening. It would be so embarrassing...it wouldn't only embarrass me because of the people but it would embarrass me because I know I'm not like other girls. After I was dressed and made up like a true princess I headed down into the kitchens and smelled it, the aroma punctured my nose but it was so delightful. I stopped one of the kitchen ladies and she bowed "My lady what an honor, I hope it smells good" she said smiling and I nodded "it always does. Anyway I was wondering if maybe you could do a favor for me." I asked and she raised a brow "okay my lady, but I won't poison anyone", I laughed and shook my head "no no. I want to feed someone like a king this evening that isn't the royal family" I said softly and she gasped, I covered her mouth "you cannot tell anyone" I hushed. "This man I want you to feed is a strong, tall, gruff man and I know he is treated differently for many reasons. I want him to get the best ale and the best meats tonight, give him my plate for all I care" I said softly and she looked at me with a smile "what does he look like?" She asked calmly. "He's tall, intimidating all most, he's got a bit of a beard, dark eyes...uhhh and a burn on half of his face..." I said before biting my lip and the kitchen maid gasped "My lady...you are trying to court The Hound?" She thought I was mad. "Well why not?" I asked and she sighed "He's a killer dear, he's not a prince or a kind man. He's unruly and mean. He's also under Joffrey's command, he's a dog silly girl" she said before continuing "If you still wish to feed him like a well deserved man then I shall. But you need to know if he doesn't notice the kindness, it's because he's not a soft enough man to see a beautiful lady trying to catch his attention" she said and I went quiet. "No prince or highborn has ever loved me, please do as I say and feed him like a king. He has a heart I see it. He just hides it." I said before walking out and grew worried, I gazed around to look for him and I found him beside Joffrey again and I sighed softly "I'll hope he notices..soon." I walked back to my room until the feast. I ended up laying down and dosing off slowly for a bit, hopefully I don't miss the feast.
