Chapter Two: Moving

It's been almost a week since I last seen Elrick. I miss him so much. I'm not used to having this much love and care for someone. Not since I lost, Evalee.

Evalee was mine and Kamil's daughter. We were so excited when we found out I was pregnant. We had the nursery set up, the house was baby proof and the diaper bag was ready. We lost Evalee when I was 30 weeks pregnant, I didn't feel any kicks half way throughout the day. I went to the Emergency Room when Kamil got home, and she was gone. She didn't have a heart break. It broke my heart.

Kamil and I haven't been the same since. Yeah, we love each other. But our love is missing something.

I tried getting pregnant shortly after. Everyone thought I was pregnant, I had myself excited for nothing. The tests all came back negative. I focused on work.

RING RING RING CALL FROM ELRICK HEART

YAY! He's finally called. At the warehouse he works at, they're not aloud to bring in their cellphones. They have to leave it in their car, and walk through a metal detector when they first arrive in the building. If you bring in that iPhone, good luck getting it back. Last person waited a month to get their phone back.

I turned off the sink and dried my hands with my pants. Didn't have a wash cloth clean at the moment

"Hey babe!" I answered the phone so excited.

"Hey sweetie, I have great news. I found us... I mean me a place. I checked it out before work today. It's looking pretty solid." He tells me.

Already? This guy is working fast. But I can't help but smile at his determination for us to be together.

"That's awesome E, when do I get the chance to see this one of a kind place?" I asked him.

He makes a little giggle and says, "Well I'm glad you like the idea. Come with me to Walmart tonight in Bolingbrook. It's open twenty four hours and you can help me pick stuff out!"

Wait. What?

"Wait, what?" I said very confused.

"I just wanted to know what you'd say when I said I was looking at a place. I already put first months rent and a deposit down. Already have the keys and all," he tells me. He's so nonchalant about it.

I really don't want to go out that late tonight but I guess I'll have this little Walmart adventure with him. Better than IKEA!

I hear the door knob being wiggled around. Kamil is home.

"That sounds great babe. I actually gotta let you go. But I'll see you tonight at 11 P.M. at WalMart. I love you!" I hung up the phone suddenly.

Kamil walked into the front door. I walked up to him and gave him a big hug and kiss.

"Hey baby, I missed you," I tell him happily. He has such a big smile when we're together.

"Hey cutie, how was your day?" He asks me.

I move away and start stirring the noddles in the pot, "It was okay, unproductive. Just didn't do anything besides clean. Spahgetti's for dinner."

"Oh yummy, want a movie night too? I'm thinking Insidious? Or Disney. Whichever one you prefer," he tells me as he walks back up to me and kisses me on the cheek.

I smile as I look him in the eyes and say, "Insidious it is!"

LATER THAT NIGHT

"Elrick you don't need a damn air mattress. Just buy a regular mattress on your off day," I tell him.
