Hiding under the covers
Hiding the tears that feed the monsters
That make them want more
Hiding from the thoughts that keep me up at night
No matter how hard I try to get rid of them
Hiding from the people who hurt me
Too scared to tell them to stop
Hiding from the things that fuel the thoughts
Even if they still come back
Hiding from the fear of never getting through the pain
But the pain gets worst
Hiding under the covers like they are my shield
But
They
Don't
Help.
