Finally a new life, A new life in this place called the Commonwealth. The first people I met in this part of America are people that call themselves the Minutemen. They seem like a good bunch of people, have to say my goals and theirs are matched pretty well. I take odd jobs for them every now and then. Although that man Preston seems to be the annoying type of folk. He always talks about rebuilding the Minutemen and how he assigned this new general to be the leader of the Minutemen. There seems to be a robotic problem within this area. People all around the Commonwealth claim people have been taken and replaced with these robotic men named synth, making everyone here paranoid. This isn't going to be a problem to deal with today but it will definitely be a problem in the future. I find my new home within the commonwealth, The Gwinnett Restaurant. Close enough to the minutemen's capital and not too far from Diamond City, plus there's a lot of supplies to scavenge in the city up north.

I take my small backpack and my Anti-Material Rifle and walked out the door locking it of course. I plan to go down south to the south Boston high school to see if there's anything to scavenge, maybe something to eat.

I walk until i see a raider in the distance and take cover, drawing my rifle and aiming it at the noticeable raider. I look through the scope and focus the crosshairs on the male raider's head. I pull the trigger and his head explodes into thousands of pieces. Right after doing that even more began to come out into the open, sheeps to the slaughter if you ask me. I ring out more bullets toward them and kill them as i did they're friend. I run over to investigate what they had and to look at the surrounding building. Looks like they built shacks around the entrance to the school, there's most likely more raiders inside. I search all of the dead bodies i left and got twenty-two .50 bullets and eleven bottle caps. Then i go into the school entrance very slowly. All i see ahead of me is dust and rubble from some of the broken down buildings. It was apparent that the raiders lived here anyone else would of at least cleaned the place up, to a livable condition. Paintings hanging from the wall and broken glass revealing some pictures and a camera. Next to that is a couple rows of lockers, looks like i'd get some decent loot after all. I look in the first row to only find a ceramic bowl. I sigh "fuck". I quickly look through the other rows of lockers only to find a cup and a empty can. I pick up the empty can and throw it at the wall out of anger. The ceiling had come down making stairs to the next floor up, I walked up to it very carefully and go through an open doorway revealing some shelves knocked over paintings and a mattress. I searched the Shelves only to find nothing but tin cans and cups again, But that's when i noticed it, a little safe attached to the wall at the end of the little room. I run over in a sigh of relief and tried to open it with my hands expecting it to be unlocked. It was stupid of me, of course the safe was locked. I put my backpack on the floor and looked through it until i found my trusty screwdriver and bobby pin. I jam both of them into the lock and attempt to unlock the safe, cracking it without a sweat. It unlatches and i open it right up to find a handful of ten millimeter rounds and a ten mm handgun, along with twenty-seven pre-war dollars. Such a lucky find, i might have enough to get the new gun i wanted from Diamond City. I throw the latch back and the safe closes. I turn to leave and notice some random raider going through my bag like i wasn't even here. I point my Anti-material rifle at the person and said "put your hands up, NOW!" the person got up from my back and raised their hands, only then could i identify them. Looked like a middle-aged woman with worn outrages and an obvious pistol at her waist. She said in a pleading tone, "please mister if my family doesn't get food we'll die for sure". The way she said it there no way she's lying. I run over to my bag and zip it up and throw it over my shoulder. Turning to the clearly women in distress, i said " follow me i'll get you some food for your family." The women and I leave the school to head north toward my home. We make it to my front door after making a couple of detours just in case she was a raider in disguise. I turn and tell her to stay put as i go in and grab some food for her. I grab a box i had lying around and shoved some food into it. I go out to the girl and hand her the box. She smiled at me and said, "Thank you so much, sir, I remember, I owe you one." The women leaves and i walk into my house. I sit on my chair i placed close to my ammo barrel. I reload my Anti-material rifle and place it down on the closest table. I open a draw from the desk and grab a .44 magnum, fully loaded. I throw it into my holster and lock it in. i grab my rifle and throw it over my shoulder. Time to do some more missions for those Minutemen.
