(Y/n)'s POV
•••••"What. The. Hell. WOMAN?" The person screamed. I just stared, horrified at the person. He had soft, white hair and eyes so blue, they would put a sapphire to shame. Those eyes, were looking at me in anger and confusion. His nose, was bleeding and he held a hand over it. My hands shot up to my mouth.
"Oh my god, I am so sorry," I bowed down, ashamed of myself. "I didn't do it on purpose, I just-"
"Who the hell are you?" He asked, bluntly interrupting me. "And what in the world are you doing in the training room?"
My eyes travelled down to his clothes. He was wearing dark blue shorts and a sweaty white, sleeveless shirt.
"I- I am (y/n) (l/n)," I said, bowing down again. "I am sorry for hitting you. I just reflex hit you; I didn't expect anyone behind me. I didn't expect any of this. I don't know where Lady Kikyo has brought me. Where are we? And you are...?"
"Hmph," he looked at me, disapproving. "I am Killua Zoldyck, and you're in the Zoldyck mansion. You don't know why she brought you here?"
"No, absolutely no idea," I said softly. Before I could say anything, I saw the blood come on his lips. I panicked and opened my bag, which I was going to give Lady Kikyo full of herbs for the journey back.
I pulled out a leaf that was best right then. I reached out for his nose, but he slapped my hand. I blinked at him, looking confused. Why did he hit me?
I grabbed his left hand with my right one and placed it near his hip. I grabbed the other one and keeping it in my hand, I used only one of my hand to softly press it, so that it will soothe. I kept the leaf on his nose.
"Don't let it fall," I said softly. "And I don't bite. If I am not wrong, you are an assassin, too, right?"
"Hmph," he just nodded, cross at me. I just gave a small giggle. Suddenly, a loud voice came.
"Sorry, (y/n)," said the voice of Lady Kikyo.
"Lady Kikyo!" I said happily. "Why have you brought me here? Where is here? Where are you?"
"Calm down, (y/n)," her voice said. My eyes caught sight of a speaker. I smiled, facing it, now. Killua was behind me. "Now, I am glad you have met up with Kilu. That makes things easier. (Y/n), do you trust me? With your life?"
"Yes, Lady Kikyo, I do," I said, still smiling. "And I don't care even if you kill me. Really, my life doesn't have much use. It will be fine-"
"(Y/N)!" She said, her voice raising a bit. "Don't say that. You are special, my child. And that's why, I am going to lock you in a tower."
"Huh? Wait, what?!" I stumbled accidentally. "Lock me up?"
"Yes, but it's for your own good," her voice said. I heard a sigh. "About Kilu, he is going to be your guard. Kilu, make sure that no one takes her away or she runs away. You duty is to protect her as long as I tell you. You anyways told me that you don't like killing people, so this is your replacement job"
"Okay, mother," said Killua from behind me. I tilted my face to face him and gave him a smile. He just gave me a quick, sarcastic smile before frowning. I frowned. Why was he being such a drama queen?
"Take her to the highest tower in the East wing," she said.
"Okay," he mumbled. He harshly grabbed my arm and was about to drag me somewhere, when I tugged.
"Hey, wait, I am not done!" I said. "Lady Kikyo, why are you doing this?"
"Hm, good questions deserve good answers," her voice came from the speaker. "Do you think I didn't notice the sadness in your eyes that day? It was so plain that you weren't happy at all. I just want to see you happy"
".... Thank you, Lady Kikyo," I said softly, as I let Killua drag me to god knows where the East wing is.
I wonder how the tower is? Killua is supposed to be my guard, but what if he treats me like trash? He certainly looks like he will.
The way he was behaving just screamed that he hated me. I wondered how my life will soon be.
Little did I know, my life was going to change dramatically.
