When I woke up the next morning
I was very excited about the phone call.
I dressed up and went down. "Morning" I said. "Good Morning sweetie." Mom said. "Your Brother is already out." Keisha was sitting at the table. She was trying to build a tower of napkins. She laughed because the whole tower fell down. I made cornflakes and drank two glasses of Organe juice. After that I went upstairs to my room because I couldn't wait any longer. I had to call the scout. "Andrice McSullivan?" the woman on the other side said. "Ehm hi, its Lainey. I am the girl that you talked to yesterday." "Oh Lainey, Good you called. Did you already decide?" Andrice said. "Yeah, I would like to take this chance." I said a little shy. "Great. Can you come to the agency this afternoon at 4?" I was very excited. " Of course." "I will send you the adress." "Thank you so much!" I shouted exited. "See you this afternoon. Be in time." Then the call ended.
I sat down on my bed because I was just so overwhelmed and a little bit shocked. I mean that all just happened so fast. Anyways I decided to call Summer. "Hi Lainey! Did you call her? What did your mom say?" she said right after I called. "My mom supports me." I answered. "Cool!" "Plus I called the scout." "What? What did she say?" Summer was even more excited than me. I told her everything. Even if there wasn't that much to tell because Andrice didn't say that much. But anyways. We talked for a bit and then I hung up. I checked my new messeges.

I smiled. My friends do really care about me. I don't know what I would do without them.
It was 10 am so I decided to go swimming. I packed my bag with my bikini and a towel. "Mom I'm leaving!" "Okay sweetie, have fun!"
I left the house and took my bicycle.
20 minutes later I arrived at the outdoor pool. Shit. Jacob Smillt was standing in front of the pool. He was all alone. Okay. I may have to explain some things. Jakob and I were friends for very long time. But then he fell in love with me. But I was in love with Jonas. We got together soon after that and Jakob was sad. So we didn't hang out then. But now he is standing right 5 meters in front of me. Shit. I was just walking away when I heard his voice. "Hey, Lainey!" Shoot. I turned around and tried to set up a fake smile. "Oh hi Jakob!" I said. "How are you? How's your boyfriend? And How is Keisha?" He said without leaving me any chance to talk. "Ehm I'm great, thanks." Jonas and I aren't together anymore." I said.
"Oh" he said. "It's okay." I said. And I hated myself for saying that cause that sounded like I am still not over him.
"Look Lainey, I am over you. We can be just friends." Jakob said. Shoot. Everything I say sounds so desperate. I said: " Ehm look I forgot that I have to pick up my sister." I ran to the changing rooms. On half way Jakob shouts: Lainey, the exits are this way!" Shoot. I smiled (fake again) and ran to the other side. Great. I can forget swimming now. I left and went home.
A small note was lying on the kitchen table.

I took your sister to the playground and after that we will look for clothes for her.

I smiled. Yep, no one was in the house.
I made pasta with cheese. Then I began to prepare for my meeting. I showered and after that I looked for an optional outfit. Then it was time to leave.
