I didn't know what to wear to be honest. Should I wear some fancy clothes? Casual? I mean it's not a casting. So no need for black or white clothes. What about my blue jeans dress? Nah, this could look overdressed. Shorts and Tanktop? Too basic. I decided to go with my red blouse and jeans. Combined with my cute black sandals. Great. I looked at my phone to Check the time. Shoot! I only had 20 minutes left! I grabbed my purse and left the house. It would take me at least 15 minutes to get to the agency.
I arrived at the agency two minutes before 4 pm. I entered the building. Jeez. I looked at the huge mirrors. I tried some smiles in front of the mirror and then slowly walked to the information desk. The young lady that was sitting behind the desk, the label on her white blouse said "Michelle Lowan", told me where I had to go to and also looked at me strangely while telling me that I'm almost late. As if I didn't know that...
I walked down the hall and came to a huge elevator. After 5 minutes I was finally standing in front of the door with my agents name on it. I knocked and entered the room. Mrs McSullivan smiled at me but I couldn't see if it was a fake smile or not. There was something about her that you just couldn't judge her by her looks. She kinda had a poker face. "Hi Laney, I'm glad you came." she said. Again I couldn't tell if there was irony.
The next 2 hours she told me everything about the contract.
I couldn't remember a thing I guess. I was just so overwhelmed.
Luckily me, Mrs McSullivan would send the mail with the information to my parents and me later.
After the meeting, the only thing I could remember was that I would have a set card shooting in two days.
I left the building in trance.
At home, my mom had already made dinner. I told my parents everything about the meeting and the contract.
My mom signed it and I would send it to the agency the next day.
I went to my room. I just couldn't realize that my dream just had become true. I laid on the bed and soon started to sleep.
