Lulu quietly cracked the door to Johnny's room. She stuck her face through the little crack checking on him. Lulu opened the enough to sneak through.
She tiptoed to the middle of the room but stopped when Johnny stirred. Lulu continued on once he settled.
Lulu finally got to Johnny's bedside.
"Johnny," She called.
Nothing
"Johnny," Lulu said louder than before.
Still nothing.
She groaned quietly. Lulu pulled the blanket down, enough for her to slip in.
"I had a nightmare and feel safe with you," She whispered even though she knew he wouldn't hear.
"I'm getting in bed."
Once Lulu settled, Johnny turned to her. He pulled her closer to his chest.
"You're safe with me."
