Moon and Back

Chapter 2

Lexinne's Pov:

You know those days when all you want to do is just strangle someone to death and just walk away? Well this is one of those days!

I am in a terrible mood today, my alarm clock didn't wake me up so I was late for 2 minutes in Calculus, and I have a 2 hour detention with Shann! Who wouldn't get angry at that?

"Ugh!" I slammed my locker hard and banged my head to it.

"Woah, what's going on with you?" Genaea was currently putting her notes and books in her own locker which is next to mine.

"I want to take a break!" I screamed as loud as I can, while looking up.

"What are you shouting on about?" Tanya suddenly came and raised one of her perfect eyebrow.

"I woke up late, and I have detention with him." I made sure to add venom in my words.

"That's great!" She suddenly exclaimed.

"Uhm. . .did you just smack your head to the cold tiled floors or something Tanya?" Genaea was so shocked that she dropped her notebook

"You know that spells disaster right?"

"Well, I mean who wouldn't feel lucky to have the school's most bad boy in one room?"

"Eww, okay that is so gross on so many levels, I don't even know where to start." I felt like my head was gonna explode.

"I'm just saying." She shrugged and opened her locker.

"Anyway, I better go." I stood up straight and exhaled loudly.

The detention room is located at the west wing of the school near the Administrators' room. Since it was still too early to go, I went off to the student's lounge and prayed silently that no one was there, I want to finish my Spanish homework soon and boy could Señorita Ulvida give homework, She want us to write a 10 paged essay about our opinion of Spain's current problems and what we could suggest to help lessen those problems.

I entered quietly, there was only about 4 people and they were all sleeping so I have to tiptoe my way behind the couch they are sleeping on. I tiptoed myself to the round table and started writing. After a few hours I was already in the 8th paper, I looked at the clock and saw that it was already 4:00 pm and my detention starts at 4:30 pm. I stood up and cleaned the area where I worked and saw that I was all alone in the lounge. I grabbed my bag and went out, as I was walking I came across Tanya.

"Weird. Class already ended 2 hours ago, why is she still here?" I was about to go to her when I saw a guy with her and to my actual surprise it was Shann and they were acting too friendly for my taste, it almost seemed like they were dating. If it weren't for that guy's reputation as a manwhore, I would totally start shipping them together. Shann puts his arm around her and started walking together. I almost screamed but I didn't want them to think that I was spying on them or whatever.

I continued walking towards the detention room, but my mind keeps wandering on what i witnessed awhile ago. Questions started to form one by one and I didn't have the guts to think of the actual answers.

I opened the door and gave my detention slip to the person sitting in the teacher's desk. I sat in the farthest right corner and bowed my head and started to take a nap.

Bam!

That made me stand up quickly, I saw Shann walk in arrogantly and Tanya was also going inside! Does she have detention as well? Looks like it coz' she just handed her own detention slip. Obviously they are trying to avoid talking to each other because I'm with them.

"Lexi!" She sat infront of me and smiled.

"Hey." I smiled at her faintly.

"So this is what it looks like in the inside huh?"

"Yeah, not too impressed huh?"

"Well I thought it would be full of posters about following rules and shit." She chuckled and turned around.

"Oh yeah?" I whispered and rolled my eyes.

I felt someone staring at me and guess what? It was him staring at me and even had a pen between his mouth, he was chewing on it. I gave him my middle finger and stuck my tongue out, and he did the same only he didn't give me the F you sign.

I was about to lie down my head when someone threw me a pen, I turned and saw him smirking at me and even did the 'come at me bro' sign. I took a paper and quickly rolled it and threw it hard on him. Before you knew it, we were already having a full blown paper fight.

"What is going on at the back?" The teacher shouted and even threw a chalk at his and my direction.

"I have to go back to the Principal's office, I want the three of you to behave!" She looked at us one by one before going out.

The entire detention went by quickly and before you could say "Holy pancakes with cherry springkles" we were out and ready to take on the world.

"Hey Lex?" Tanya tried to catch up to me so I slowed down a little.

"What's up?"

"You wouldn't be angry if I told you I still like him right?" Oh, so this is where she wants to go with our conversation.

"No, not at all." I smiled and went away towards the doors.

Before going out, I turned around and saw her waiting for him by the door, clearly the lass was smitten by him.

So she still likes him and maybe he likes her. Super! Like I would say that in a million years. It's weird having your best friend and enemy dating. It's out of my league to decide what she wants but I hope she considred our friendship in making her decision.
