Lexinne's Pov:
It has been a week after school started, and let me just say how much of a pain in the ass having Shann as my classmate in all my classes and it still hasn't been a month since we saw each other after summer. Not a day goes by without me and him trying to choke each other's throat and glaring like daggers everytime we could.
Like for example last tuesday when we had Chemistry and we were trying an experiment. Guess what? HE WAS MY PARTNER!
I thought that was a way to settle our arguments, don't get me wrong I like fighting and talking back at each other with him but I miss the times where we used to just talk about life and how amazing it is but he had to ruin everything.
Last Tuesday. . .
"Okay class, today we will go on to the journey of discovery, your first ever experiment." Mr. Arc explained.
"In front of you, you will see a container of Nitric acid, and here is where it gets exciting!" He looked at us expectantly but frowned when he saw that some of us weren't paying attention to him.
"A mystery ball! One of the members of your team will come here at exactly 2:15 pm and drop the marble into the beaker, the elements will break down overnight and turn into a different color, then the other team member will figure out what that color is and what to do to turn it back to nitric acid."
"No!" Many of the girls complained and even some of the boys were angry.
"You will get 100 points if you will be able to answer my question."
Everyone perked up at the part where Mr. Arc said 100 points.
"Who is supposed to do what?" I heard Therese asked.
"Well your a team aren't you? Divide the responsibilities as you see fit."
After that he left us to attend to some personal matters and said that we should use the time to prepare for our experiment.
"So Shann, we both know that we hate each other but in order to get 100 points we need to work together, so for the time being can I count on you to not be the most pain in the ass in the entire world?" I held out my hand for him to shake
"Doesn't bother me anyway. Unless you put some malice." He shook my hand and I felt somehing weird, something foreign and totally out of this world. I was the one who let go.
"Okay, so you drop the marble and I'll figure out a way to earn us 100 points." I said while examining the the beaker.
"You know what Ms. Perfect?" He suddenly said out of nowhere.
"What?" I replied but my eyes never left the beaker.
"You look less of a monster up close." He smirked at me and even had the audicity to laugh a little! That made me a little angry and I dare say that blush was because of what he said! I blushed like hell. . .wah!
"I-I thought you said you won't be a pain in the ass?" I stuttered and raised a single eyebrow at him, still flustered about that single sentence he just said.
"Yeah, but that doesn't mean I can't tease you right, stutterpie?" He smirked evilishly. Was he for real, like who calls a person stutterpie anyways?
"Shut up asshole."
"I get that a lot, but it means a little when it comes to you."
"Oh yeah? Mind telling me why. . .asshole?" I teased him back.
"Tch. Nevermind." He suddenly stood up and that made his chair fall into the floor, and then suddenly everyone was looking at us.
