pinky promise

"you promise you won't tell?" I loved her innocent voice.

"pinky" I stuck out my finger and closed my eyes until i felt her soft pinky wrap around my finger. While our thumbs were touching I leaned in and kissed my own thumb as she did to hers.

"I'm so glad we met Leo." I loved the way she said my name.

"I'm glad we met too." I smiled down at her, she was so beautiful in every way.

"I know we only met this year but i still think you are the best friend ive ever had."

I hate that word.

"Youre my best friend too Rorie." I said using my nickname for her as she flashed her adorable dimples.

"You better keep your promise Leo, if you don't I will hunt you out from your fancy school all by myself."

I gave her a chuckle and replied,

"Of course, I pinky promised diddnt I? And besides, how could I stay away from your little carrot top?"

Giving me a smile we heard her parents call for a picture.

" Don't forget me okay?"

"Never." giving her a re-assuring smile I added,

"its not like were never going to see each other again."

Well that was a lie.

Four years later and I still havent talked to Arrora since our 8th grade graduation. Was there a reason for that? Well first off I loved her from the moment we met but of course the nerdy one never gets the girl so I got friend zoned from my first love.

But I had to stop dwelling over the past. Here I am at University Of Toronto starting my new life without thinking or worrying about Arrora Summers. I know what you're thinking, 4 years and you haven't moved on yet? come on, grow some balls bro. well dipshit what does it look like I'm doing?

"Um are you just going to stand there all morning? I want to figure out where I'm going."

I looked down to see a blonde girl with nice green eyes and and even nicer rack looking at me. Target sighted. time to whip out the english accent.

"Oh I'm sorry love I didn't know I was staring, I just wanted to take a look at the view of beautiful building. I'm so rude i didn't even notice there was someone even more stunning right in front of me."

I saw her melt right in front of me. Damn this accent is good.

"Allow me to introduce myself leonardo Grey and you are?" I made sure to flash her a smile before asking for her name.

Batting her eyelashes she replied

"Georgina, but you can call me Jorgie"

"Well Jorgie, I was wondering if you would enjoy touring the campus with me, its so big you could get lost."

"I have a feeling thats not the only thing thats big." giving me a wink she lead me down the hall back to my room. Personally I didn't know how she knew that was my room or how one line got her into bed but I wasn't asking any questions. All I could think was, Thank god for britain.

"That was so magical Jorgie."

"Oh my god I feel the same way!" God this girl just eats every line up doesn't she? I got up from the bed and started putting on some pants.

"leo, where are you going?"

"Just to fetch some coffee at the shop would you like some?"

"No thanks, I was just hoping we could, you know, cuddle."

I gave her a laugh and threw a spoon on the bed.

"have fun angel" and scurried out of the room

Hopefully she leaves by the time I get back. I know what your thinking, dick move. But trust me if I i was sweet she would have stayed for coffee. let's just pray she keeps her pride and leaves my dorm.

Making my way to the front of the line of the coffee shop I decide what to order. But of course somebody had to ruin my mood by yelling hurry up. I couldn't think while this bitch kept barking orders to go faster, so before ordering my croissants and tea I yelled at the chick behind me.

"Okay if you want me to go faster don't be a bitch and bark at me telling me to to go faster when in reality I'm just going to go slower than my original pace. Alright?"

"excuse me but who the fuck are you to-" I didn't even listen to the rest of what she was saying I just turned around and yelled shut up in whoevers face. Of course it had to be the person I didn't want to see the most,

"Oh, Arrora"
