SEOUL CITY, 12:05 P.M.

SUNDAY -

she stood by the marble counter, her gaze fixed on the golden watch that hung loosely from her fingers. the time was only set for five weeks, once it rung-- her time was over.

she couldn't sleep at all last night, thinking of the whole surreal situation. it seemed like something out of a movie, it didn't seem like something natural at all.

isabella's mind had drifted away, as she suddenly heard loud bangs on the counter.

"YAH" she heard a yell. isabella jumped in surprise. she scoffed, scratching the back of her tired head. "what?" she asked, nastily.

"i don't know if your'e blind, but we have costumers-- your'e holding up the line isabella!" her irritating manager yelled at her.

she scoffed in annoyance, which only earned her a smack on the head

"YAH! don't hit me like that" isabella frowned as she fixed her hair.

"take their orders before i fire you," her manager coldly retorted, before making his way to the kitchen at the back of the store. 

isabella forced a smile on her face as she stared at the long line in front of her. "i'm sorry, can i take your order?" she asked the women in front of her.

isabella tried to take her job seriously, but she couldn't focus. 

she lost focus of the keyboard in front of her, which only made her type gibberish. she shook her head and snapped back to reality.

"aish-- bella" she scolded herself as she mentally face palmed.

"i-i'm sorr-" the girl was about to apologize; however, her sentence was cut off by the figure walking past her.

her eyes widened. 

"i-i'm sorry i have to go" the girl apologized before hurriedly fleeing the coffee shop.

"YAH! YAH" she called out.

"LEE JOOHEON" she called out as she caught up to the boy.

"hey" he spoke to her, ever so casually.

"h-hey" she spoke back. "what're you doing here?" he asked, puzzled.

"oh i'm on my part time job shift" she replied, with a grin.
