The Weekend (On Hold)

Chapter One

Alec...

"Let me fix your tie baby." My wife says as she grabs the tie on my neck. She straightens it out before smoothing my suit then looks up at me. "You look so good right now." She voices softly before leaning up to press her lips to my own softly. I let out a deep chuckle before gripping her slim waist in my hands.
"Thank you, and as much as I love you like this," My hands slide up her back and rest in the middle of it. "I think you should start getting ready. We know how long you take." I smile down as her and she giggles before pushing herself away from me.
"Okay, let me start my makeup, I'll be done in an hour." She says as she walks towards our bathroom.
"Two." I mumble to myself before trapping my bottom lip between my teeth as I watch her ass move as she walks.
"No I'll be done in one! I promise!" She says before shutting herself inside the bathroom. Chuckling softly I begin to fix up the bed to kill sometime. Once the room is fully cleaned I snag my phone from the side dresser before making my way downstairs to start up the car. Once I get it going I stand outside in the late day sun and pull my pack of cigarettes from my pocket and spark one up. I place it between my lips before taking a slow pull of it. I watch as the sun begins to set before checking my watch. It was nearing six and we needed to get going soon. "Coming baby!" Nani yells from the balcony before hitting back into the room. Finishing off my cigarette, I toss it to the ground before stepping on it with my dress shoes to make sure it's out. Baby girl comes out in a shimmery silver dress I'd bought her not to long ago and smile. Her curvy figure nearly has me drooling but her face is what always had me stuck. Her beautiful almond shaped eyes were a light brown color and they sparkled whenever. Her nose was like a cute little button and her full lips were the perfect shade of pink.

"You look so good baby." I tell her as I pull open the passenger side door for her.
"Thank you." She giggles with a blush before slipping inside the car. I shut the door softly before making my way to the drivers side. I slide into my side before buckling myself up and then begin to back out the driveway.
"Put that seat belt baby, that beeping is going to drive me crazy and I don't need you getting hurt if something were to happen." I say softly as we begin to cruise down the road.
"Okay dad." She rolls her eyes playfully before following my command. I chuckle before setting my hand on her thigh. I squeeze it lightly before glancing over at her quickly.
"I'm just trying to keep my baby safe." I smirk and that cute blush creeps across her cheeks once more. She connects her hand to mine and intertwines our fingers before leaning her head against the window. I turn my attention back to the road before  a comfortable silence washes over us. Her sweet voice hums softly to the music on the radio as I pull up to our building.
"You ready?" She says to me as I park the car. I take a deep breath before pulling the keys out the engine.
"Yeah babe..." I say before stepping from the car. Flashes begin to surround me and I smile as I make my way over to Nani. She's already smiling before I her the door open. She grasps my hand and carefully  steps her heeled feet to the ground before standing.
"Mr. Brown! Look over here!" Someone shouts but I pull Nani close to me before leading her closer to the building. A long line of people are wrapped around it making a rush of excitement run over me.
"All these people are here for you baby..." She whispers to me we come up to the doors.
"I know..." I whisper back before turning towards all the people. "Wow... I didn't expect to have this many people show up... um thank you." I chuckle nervously before unlocking the doors. I push them open before looking back at the many people.

"Welcome to the Black Pyramid Studio." I smile at all the awaiting customers before stepping aside. Hundreds of people rush into the store, shuffling things off of clothing racks. I smile as I watch the people and two small arms wrap around my waist.
"I'm so proud of you." My wife whispers in my ear and I swivel around to face her. She smiles up at me before cupping my face in her hand. "You worked so hard to get here..." She says softly before placing her lips on my own.
"I know... and I can already tell all that work is going to pay off..." I say softly before glancing over my shoulder. A line of people has already formed at the register, people eager to buy the clothing line I had set out. For years I'd been developing designs and now was my chance to see them put to use. Nani squeezes my sides lightly as we watch the people together. "Where's Riyah?" I ask her as I turn my attention back to her.
"At your moms remember? You had me drop her off." She says and I nod before twisting up my lips.
"I feel bad now... our baby girl should be here with us." I say and she giggles lightly before standing on her tippy toes to place a kiss on my cheek.
"She's okay with her grandma, besides, she's to young to remember this moment anyway." She says before tapping my chest and walking away. She beings to converse with a few of the customers as I continue to stand by the door with a smile on my face. Time goes pas my quickly and before I know it, I find myself having to clear the store out. People wanted to stay and linger longer but it was closing time and I missed my daughter. Nani had left a couple hours ago, leaving me and a few of my employees to shut down.
