Night falls, lock your door

Dinner had been rather quiet, any question Jungkook had was answered with quickness only attainable for someone who had thought of the answers beforehand.

"So, are all of you related?" Jungkook asked, because the men didn't look like siblings. The only resemblance they really had with each other was the fact that all of them were elegant and extremely well mannered. Jungkook wasn't looking forward to being the exception in the house, he wasn't necessarily a gentleman. Then again, what else could you expect from a guy who hadn't lived in the same place for more than three years, souly because of his non-gentleman like ways.

"No, we were all adopted here by the owner of the house but please call him dad," Taehyung had said," it would be quite bothersome to him if you didn't." Then Jimin chirped:"All of us were adopted, except for Taehyung that is, he is actually blood related to dad."
Jungkook hadn't even met the owner, the person who adopted him. "Where is the owner anyway?"

"On a business trip, he won't be back for quite some time," Namjoon answered.
Namjoon had made the impression on Jungkook that he was the second in command, the one who took over in the absence of the actual owner. His eyes had a thoughtful wit about them.

As dinner had come to an end Hoseok had asked Jungkook if he wanted to go and see the garden, to which Jungkook had said no. He was tired and didn't want someone breathing down his neck while exploring this place, he wanted to see for himself. He had excused himself and went to his room.

Unlocking the door and making his way inside jungkook was , surprisingly enough, with his luggage. He was too tired to unpack everything so he just got out his pajamas and everything he needed in order to get ready for the night. After brushing his teeth he glanced over at the clock, one thirty. It was late and he was tired, so he made his way towards the luxurious bed. He lifted the sheets and got in.

As he laid down, thinking about the events of the day, Jungkook couldn't help but hear the silence being disturbed. Slow footsteps could be heard and every so often there was a metallic clicking noise. It came closer and closer. Then Jungkook realised what it was: the metallic sounds were door-handles being tugged and being met with resistance as they were locked.

As he came to this realisation his eyes shot open at the sound of the footsteps getting closer. Then they were in front of his door.

He held in his breathe. Jungkook felt watched and didn't dare move, who could be visiting his room at this ungodly hour? He then realised he had left the door unlocked, maybe it was just taehyung?

The sound of the door-handle being met with no resistance could be heard throughout the room.

Jungkook decided that if he were to turn around, he had to do so as quick as possible. And so he spun his head around. The door was opened only slightly, but revealed enough of the person in the doorway to make Jungkook freeze up and his blood run cold.

Eyes white, frail framed and face pale. There stood a person who shouldn't be standing there at all.

Kim Seokjin.
