I closed the hotel door behind me beginning my walk to the elevator. I was really hoping that my dorm would soon be ready to go back into it. The inconvenience of travel is something I sure will not miss.

I push the button to go down switching my folder and laptop between my arms. The familiar ringing finally came as the door to the elevator opened and as soon as I saw the person who was already in there, I wanted to run the other way.

The the other end of the hallway and straight out the window.

Sadly jumping out of a window would not get me to campus in sufficient time. So I was forced to walk into the elevator even with my feet's constant protesting.

It's okay, just don't say anything and you won't feel the need to yell.

Although just his presence was enough for me to grit my teeth at an unhealthy rate.

"What an unlikely meeting this is?" His voice says making me groan straight away knowing now I was free to yell at him as much as I liked. Couldn't he just keep his mouth shut for a couple of minutes?

"Not a welcome one, that's for sure" I add, not even looking over at Grayson's direction, not wanting to see the stupid smirk on his face.

I don't know what his plan was with that smirk, is that meant to entice me, because all it really makes me want to do is tug at my hair constantly for ten minutes.

"Nice earrings," he says making me furrow my eyebrows and all of a sudden become very self-conscious about the earrings I was wearing. They were simple gold hoops that I had splurged on a couple of weeks ago and since then have refused to go anywhere without them.

"Still not sleeping with you," I say even with the compliment thrown my way.

"Trust me, I think I have given up with trying to get you into bed," he says with a small laugh "all you ever do is yell at me and it's just plain rude"

"Well all you ever do is smirk and it's just annoying" I add with a small laugh, how I had gone from completely loathing him before to actually tolerating his presence is beyond me.

"Maybe that's just my normal smile, you never know, you don't know me," he says.

"Well then it's just simply an annoying smile" I add. The doors to the elevator finally opened, as we arrived at the foyer.

"Well as much as I loved this little conversation that I really could have started my day without, I have to go give myself an education," I say only turning to him for a second before walking off and beginning the long walk to campus.

You'd think by now I'd finally have figured out the bus timetable and when they actually come. But yet here I am walking past about five bus stops not wanting to accidentally get on the wrong one.

Aimee and I sat at one of the tables out on the grass, both with our folders attempting to learn what our lecturer had just taught us.

"I would rather be studying law right now, than this stupidity" Aimee adds, frustratingly flicking her pen across the table. Which didn't really seem to help control her anger as after that she had to reach over the table to get it back.

"It would also be better if we had a proper dorm to study in" I add causing Aimee to roll her eyes.

"Oh haha, at least all your stuff was okay, the only pairs of clothes I have now is the crap my mum gave me when I was fifteen and have been forced to keep," she says making me laugh, I did think her outfit this morning was a bit quirky.

"Well you really only have yourself to blame for that" I laugh "on the subject of our dorm, I was wondering if you wanted to spend a couple of nights at the hotel with me"

"Really? Why?, I thought you loved your time away from me" she says with a small smile.

"Girl you know I love you, I just feel bad that I'm living it up in a hotel while your stuck in a dodgy dorm that hasn't been renovated for a good fifty years" I say with a shrug, my dad from the start didn't want Aimee to stay in the hotel with me. Afraid she might set something on fire and cause him to pay for it.

But I couldn't help but offer as I just felt bad. And what my dad doesn't know won't kill him.

"Well thank you, I am defiantly not going to decline that offer," she says, I look down at my folder at the scribbled words that I had written only hours ago but still they looked completely unrecognisable.

Stupid lectures talking at a thousand miles an hour and rubbing stuff off the board five seconds after they write it.

"But seriously, we need to learn this stuff," I say, I grab my hat from next to me putting it on my bed.

It was the middle of the day, so the sun was intense and I wouldn't appreciate going back to the hotel with a sunburnt face.

"I am now ready for the immense amount of torture I am about the experience," she says, concentrating hard on her work, as we both continued with our notes.
