Dahlia and Jabari the day were being filled with, smiles and laughs. Jabari zoned out watching Dahlia cheesing like a big kid while looking around at all the lights and also talking to him.
"Bari take a picture of me." She said knocking him out of the zone he was in.
He smacked his lips, " Man didn't I tell your ass.."
She cut him off, "Shut that shit up and take the picture dude. Here." She shoved her phone in his hands. He then glared at her but took the picture anyway.

She snatched the phone from him, "Thank you very much, sir." She smiled looking at the picture, it was cute she thought.
They continued to walk around arm and arm.
"Have you found a job yet?" Jabari asked her.
She signed shaking her head, "No luck I'm lost on what career path I want to take now."
"It's ok take your time you'll find something soon. Come on let's continue to spend my money." They laughed together.

3 rides, 5 games later......
"You cried." Dahlia laughs uncontrollably, holding her stomach.
"Mannnnnnn shut up," Jabari replies folding his arms as he watches her laugh, mugging her.
"Awwwwww the big baby upset." She pouts teasingly wrapping her arms around his waist.
"Take that gay shit elsewhere." He said but hugged her back anyway.
"You know better."
They then pulled away from each other walking up to one of the many concession stands, Dahlia was mostly there for the food. She couldn't wait to get her hands on the fried corn dogs, a turkey leg, cotton candy, and popcorn. She licked her lips just thinking about it. She smiled brightly, running up to the stand, ordering one of each of the varieties of food they served. After receiving her food she skipped over to the table Jabari occupied she sat down with her food, also noticing he was now occupied on the phone with a mug stretched across his face. She began to eat her food quietly while looking around at the people on the rides, she left her phone in the car because she didn't want anything to ruin the time she was spending with him. She was a firm believer in giving someone her sole attention on outings such as this one. But obviously, Jabari didn't care about someone ruining tonight.
Looking over to her right she spots a couple sitting down on the bench smiling and laughing with each other, she smiles at the sight. They were an older black couple that color-coordinated with one another. Never had she thought of being married and growing old with someone?
Jabari had excused himself from the table whilst putting the phone against his ear. I kept eating not focusing on anything particular my eyes came into contact with, "Makaila?" I frowned standing up.
