Lianna didn't stay at school, she had to get away somewhere calm and silent. She didn't care where it was she just wanted to get away from everything and everyone.

As she stood on the edge of the cliff watching into the open waters, into the horizon, wanting to know what was beyond that, wanting to know where it could lead. 

She closed her eyes and breathed the fresh ocean air. The wind hit her from the open, thankfully she couldn't get cold so it only felt refreshing and calming, but that moment was ruined.

"What are you doing here." A voice said behind her making her gasp and quickly turn around to look at the person, seeing a broad man come from the woods and furrow his eyebrows at the girl standing on the edge.

Lianna looked between the man and the open ocean and the horizon. She opened and closed her mouth, looking like a fish out of water. She looked towards the ocean once more and then turned back to look at the man.

"It's just... calming." Lianna said and looked to her feet and then back at the man who tilted his head at her and furrowed his eyebrows. He crossed his arms over his chest, making Lianna nod her head at the man.

"I'll leave." Lianna said and quickly walked past the man, but stopped as Jacob came out from the woods. His gaze locking onto her and his eyes widening in shock not believing that she was there. Lianna was about to walk past him and just as her back went past him, she stopped again.

"You won't make it past the line." Jacob said and turned to look at his imprint and her doing the same "I can take you?" He questioned making smiles form onto eachothers faces. Lianna nodded her head at her imprint who walked towards her like an excited dog, the smile on his face not disappearing.

As they reached the line Jacob was right, she wouldn't of made past it as there was an giant wolf waiting on the line growling at the two. "It's okay." Jacob said to the wolf whose glare turned from the girl to him. 

Using that as her advantage Lianna ran over the line to their side making the wolf look at her when he heard the fast gust of wind go past him, only to see her smirk at him. She waved Jacob one last time and used her speed to get home.

 As she reached the house she walked up the stairs into one of the living rooms and fell onto the brown couch putting her feet up to the coffee table in front of her and let out an sigh in relief, finally being able to put her feet up.

"Lianna." Suddenly Esme's voice came from behind her making her look towards her mother seeing that she was standing there with her eyebrows raised and her arms crossed over his chest and her gaze went from her daughter to her feet on the coffee table.

Lianna sighed and took her feet off of the coffee table dramatically and leaned against the back of the couch closing her eyes trying to get some rest from the day she just experienced. Just as she was relaxed the moment was yet again ruined.

"Someone was in Bella's house." Edward said when he came up the stairs Bella on his tow. The whole family quickly gathered around. "Emmett and Jasper, you go to Bella's house and check the scent out and follow it as far as it goes." Carlisle said and the two nodded their head and used their speed to get to the Swan resident. 

They arrived back 5 minutes later with the slam of a door from Emmett. "Who was it? Someone we know?" Carlisle asked from his son who was looking towards the floor with his hands clenched into fists. 

"This stranger, I didn't recognize his scent." Edward said lifting his head to look at his father. "A nomad passing through?" Lianna asked as she got up and went to stand next to her mother crossing her arms over her chest.

"A passerby wouldn't have left Bella's father alive." Rosalie suddenly said and shook her head with furrowed eyebrows just as Jasper and Emmett appeared into the room.

"The scent disappeared about 5 miles south of Bella's house." Jasper said and stood next to Edward, whilst Emmett went to stand next to his mate, who took an hold of his hand.

"Someone's orchestrating this." Carlisle said and looked from each family member to the other, his hands in the pockets of his pants. "Victoria?" Bella and Lianna asked at the same time looking towards Carlisle.

"I would of seen her decide." Alice said and shook her head. Her gaze landing onto Bella, who looked back at her. "Has to be the Volturi." Edward said his eyebrows slightly furrowed whilst looking at Alice.

"It couldn't be them, Alice would of seen it happen." Lianna said and looked at Edward and then at Alice. "She's right. I don't think it's the Volturi, either. I've been watching Aro's decisions, too." Alice said and shook her head.

"So we keep looking." Emmett suddenly said, making everyone turn to look at him whilst nodding their heads in agreement. "We'll also take shifts guarding Bella at her house." Carlisle said, whilst he looked from one family member to another seeing them nod their heads.

"Another protection detail?" Rosalie asked suddenly, making everyone turn to look at her. "Rosalie." Carlisle said and furrowed his eyebrows at his daughter.

"No, she's right." Bella said out of nowhere making everyone's gaze snap at her quickly whilst their eyes widened slightly. "You can't protect me, watch my dad and search for the intruder." Bella continued looking at everyone, one by one, moving from one Cullen to another.

"And Victoria." Rosalie said and nodded her head at Bella, who nodded her head too. "And keep ourselves fed." Lianna said making everyone look to the floor.

"I'm not leaving you here defenseless." Edward said and shook his head with his eyebrows furrowed. "Well, I'm not gonna let you starve." Bella said, whilst Lianna looked towards the floor her arms still crossed over her chest.

"And I wouldn't be unprotected. I have..." Bella stopped her sentence making Lianna look up only to see that Bella was already looking at her.

"What?" She asked with her eyebrows now furrowed and as she looked from one family member to another only to see them already look her with raised eyebrows.

It took her some time to realize what her family was talking about only for her face to go blank and she looked from one vampire to another until her gaze landed back to Bella, who gave her an awkward smile.

"Oh man..."
