Chapter 3 - Candy

Ivy's POV - 

"Ash i'm nervous" I say as we pull into the parking lot. "It will be fine, don't worry babe" Ash says as he gets out of the car. I get out after him and we walk in the building hand in hand.

"Hello, how may I help you?" The lady at the desk questions in a cheery voice. "Hi, we are looking for a 13 year old girl, to adopt" I say happily. "Ok give me one second and i'll go get the girls" she says and walks off.

About four minutes later, the lady walks back in the room with about six or seven different girls following behind her. The girl at the end of the line was the one that caught my eye though.

"Ash, the girl at the end" I whisper "It's already a yes, the others are to preppy" He whispers back making me smile.

The girl on the end had black hair and she was wearing black skinny jeans, with a Gun's N' Roses tee on. She also was wearing combat boots and a lot of eyeliner.

I walk over to her as she gives me a sad smile. "Hey sweetheart, what's you name?" I question with a smile as Ash walks over. "Candy" she said in a small voice. "Well Candy, I think today is your lucky day, if you want to come home with us" I said with a smile as her eyes light up "Really" she said with hope. Me and Ash look at each other, then back at her and shake our heads yes.

She jumps with joy making me and Ash smile.

Ash and I walk over and sign the papers "Alright you are now officially, Candy Rose Purdy!" I smile as she hugs me. Ash kisses my temple "I love you both so much" he says "Come on let's go get my stuff!" she says happily dragging me and Ash by the hands. 

- Back Home - 

"Ok Candy i'm warning you now, there are eight other people that live with us, so don'y be surprised if there are people when you walk in ok" I said as I leaned over my seat to talk to her "Ok mom" she says as she grabs her book bag and gets out of the car. 

Me ans Ash follow her up the pathway to the front door. She looks back at us. Ash shoes her on and she opens the door as we walk up the front steps. We are greeted by everyone. 

"Hello!" Candy says politely. "Guys this is Candy Rose Purdy" I say with a smile plastered to my face.

"I'm Juliet"

"I'm Andy"

"I'm Jinxx"

"I'm Alice" 

 "I'm Jake"

"I'm Inna"

"And i'm CC"

"And i'm Anna"

Me and Ash watch as Candy watches everyone else introduce themselves.

"She's so cute, I love you Ash" I say and peck him on the lips. "I think your both cute and I love both of you" Ash says back as he pecks me on the cheek.

- After Dinner - 

"Candy! Come here!" I yell as she is probably off somewhere with Ash "I'm coming!" she yells as I watch her run up the stairs and into the kitchen. "Come outside with me I wanted to get to know my daughter more" I say with a smile.

It's now night time and me and Candy were sitting on the deck looking at the stars. "So you are going to have to sleep on the couch for a couple nights, cause your room is going to be added onto the house" I say as I look over at her smiling "What are you smiling at baby?" I question "Nothing your just pretty" Candy says making me smile.

"Thank you baby, now tell me about yourself" I say as I look back up at the stars. "Well I love listening to music" she says "Oh yeah what bands?" I question "Uh, stuff like Motionless In White, Black Veil Brides, Gun's N' Roses, My Chemical Romance, stuff like that" she says with a smile.

"You do know you are living with one of the bands you just named" I say as here eyes widen "What one?" she questions "Black Veil Brides" I state as I smile at her "Yeah your father is the bassist" I state as her eyes widen even more.
