Beatrix loved the attention she was getting from Angelina because of her family having to go to court. She used it to her every advantage not only with Angelina but with all her other ' friends.' During the long days of school, Beatrix rarely tried very hard with her school work, she didn't actually care one bit. By the time the day she was supposed to talk to the judge came around, she was ready. The appointment with the cities judge can right after her counseling session. The counseling sessions she had to attend once a week, on Mondays, was court ordered after her parents' divorce. Beatrix & her sister walked into the county court house, trailed by their mother. After taking the elevator up to the fourth floor, the child & family floor, they meet their mothers Lawyer, Dan Stanton. He explained what would happen before they walked into the pristine court room.

Once, they entered the room, Beatrix immediately noticed how spotless the large room was. The white walls were immaculate, just like the dark wood of the baseboards and judges stand. There were two tables in front of the row of benches they were sitting in. Behind the two tables were two pairs of soft, swirly chairs. After a while, a woman walked in. She was an averagely tall but plump woman in a tight shirt and blouse. She introduced herself as Judge Cary. She asked which of the two girls wanted to go first. Beatrix's sister said she wanted to talk first. Dan, Beatrix, and Beatrix's mom filed out of the room, as for the meeting could not be influenced by any other people.
