Chapter 17

Leigh's POV (Unedited)

As the days lead on and the time neared that the r5 gang would leave I knew I would have to announce the father of my baby.

I don't know whether the other siblings will take I well but I have a feeling Riker wont.

I mean, who wouldn't be mad if try hanging out with a person for a while and that person actually was knocked up by them and the person didn't think to tell them?

Yeah that's probably confusing but I know he's going to be more than upset.

Riley on the other hand, I'm hoping she will be happy for me and not too jealous about it.

But she's my sister and she probably won't be that way.

My legs won't stop wobbling and the butterfly's keep fluttering in my stomach.

I know it's now or never.

Either Riker knows or he leaves and never knows he is a father.

My shaking hand reaches out to grab the car keys but I snatch it back.

My brain thinks about all the bad things that could happen.

Riker could hate me

R5 could hate me

Riley could hate me

No no no, that won't happen!

I have to to do this.

I grab the car keys and slip them in my pocket. Now I somehow just gotta get Riley to come with me.

I slowly slug upstairs and peek my head into her room.

She sits on the floor organizes scattered pieces of jewelry that appear to be tangled.

"Hey" I clear my throat

She jumps up in fright and turns around to glare at me.

"Oh my god what the heck did you scare me like that for?!" She dramatically puts her hand on her heart

"Nothing, hey do you wanna go to out to eat?" The lie slips off my tongue

"Yeah I'm starvingggggggggg" She sings

"Okay so get your lazy butt up and let's go" I tease

"Your lucky I actually got dressed" She laughs

I get up and feel my legs shake and i lose balance for a minute.

She gets up and follows me down the stairs. Every saw cons that goes by I feel my heart pumping faster.

I'm gonna do this.

I'm really gonna do this.

She gets in the drivers seat and I slide into the shotgun.

"Okay so there's this new place I think we should go to"

Then one by one, I give her directions to r5s hotel.

I start to shake my leg and hum to try to ease my anxiety.

We pull around the last turn and I know the hotel is gonna be in sight now.

"Leigh, why are we at a hotel?" she looks over at me confused

"I have to see a friend but you can come too"

She nods and turns off the car.

After I walk back out of this hotel, my life will be changed forever.

We open the door and I inhale and exhale slowly.

Oh no, here we go.

The hotel desk reception lady looks up and smiles at my familiar face.

"Oh Leigh nice to see you again" She smiles

"Yeah Gina nice to see you too" I flash back a fake smile hoping she wouldn't be able to tell

"Do you want me to call R-

I froze knowing she was going to say r5.

"Yes yes yes that would be great!" I nervously laugh

Gina and Riley both look over at me confused.

Gina picks up the phone and dials the number.

She drums her perfectly manicured fingernails on the desk and hums.

"Hey sweetie! Leigh is coming up!"

One of the guys or Rydel must of said something funny because Gina laughs.

She puts the phone back in the holder and looks up, her bright blue eyes gleaming.

"Go ahead!"

I take Riley's hand and head towards the elevator.

I press the button and we step in.

"So who's your friend?" Riley asks

"You'll see" I shrug and look down

We move up and then the door dings.

It opens and I see all the doors.

I step forward and feel my legs go weak.

With Riley following behind me, I go directly towards their room.

I stop and close my eyes.

It will be alright

I tell myself this mentally trying to calm myself down.

I bang my hand on the door three times.

I hear the footsteps and ten the door clicks open.

"Hey Leigh" Rocky smiles

I hear a gasp and already clench my eyes shut and grit my teeth.

"R-Rocky?!" My sister screams

Rocky's eyes widen and he looks behind me.

"Sorry but I have to say something to you guys and I brought her"

He nods and moves so we can get through.

Riley stumbles in behind me and I look back.

She's shaking and looks like she's gonna faint.

"HOW ARE WE IN R5S HOTEL ROOM LEIGH?!" Riley screams

After she's screams, all of the r5 gang snap their attention to us.

"Okay guys I need to tell you something"

I take in the look on Rikers face. He looks alarmed and kind of puzzled.

"It's about my pregnancy" I continue on

"What about it?" Riker says and stands up and walks over to me

"I know who the father is"

At this moment, looking into Rikers eyes I realize, this is it. This will change the rest of my life.

"What?!" Rydel ,Ratliff and Riley yell at the same time

"I know, I have known since the beginning"

"Who is it?! Riley screams and shakes me

I look directly into Rikers eyes and never break eye contact.

"It's.... It's Riker"

Hey I know it's short but hey, Leigh told them! Sorry for taking a while to update. So last Thursday I went to the Pittsburgh r5 concert. My friends and I were so close! We were like 6 food away from them! Then, Rydel waved at us and smiled. It was the best night. Ross threw a guitar pick and it landed by my feet but a taller girl shoved me:/ But anyways, they were amazing!(:
