( Lisa's and Skylar's outfits☝) ( Skylar has no hat)

( next day)

-Skylar's POV-

I'm in the kicthen to with Max and he's helping me make breakfast, I have the step stool in front of the stove so Max can stand in front of it.

Here, pour this in right in the middle I tell him handing him a small measuring cup.

He grabs it from me pours in the pankcake mix good job buddy I say ruffing his hair.

Mama! He whines fixing it, what? I question smirking.

Don't touch the hair he tells me, okay, I'm sorry I replie chuckling, wanna flip it? I ask him and he nods.

I give him the spatula and I stand behind him holding his hand and help him flip it.

He looks at me happily I did it he says smiling, you sure did I replie grabbing some plates.

-Lisa's POV-

I wake up to see Skylar and Max are not in here so I quickly get up Skylar, Max? I say and nothing.

Oh no I say to myself walking out of the room and downstairs, I hear Skylar's voice so I sigh walking towards the kicthen.

I see Max standing on something in front of the stove and Skylar standing right next to him.

Here, pour this in right in the middle she tells him handing him a small cup.

He grabs it from her and pours in whatever good job buddy she says ruffing his hair.

Mama! He whines fixing it, what? She question smirking.

Don't touch the hair he tells her, okay, I'm sorry she replies chuckling while I smile to myself.

Wanna flip it? She ask him and he nods, she give him the spatula and  stands behind him holding his hand and help him flip it.

He looks at her happily I did it he says smiling, you sure did she replies grabbing some plates.

She walks up to him you know you have something on your nose she tells him smirking.

He looks at his nose where? He questions, right there she says putting some mix of whatever they are making on his nose.

He giggles you have something on your nose too he replies dipping his finger into the bowl.

Really, where? She questions jokingly looking at her nose, there he says putting some on her nose laughing.

Ahh, now I see it she says also laughing, okay, no more playing around, we need to make mommy a plate she tells him.

I walk in morning I say getting their attention, morning Lise Skylar replies smiling.

Monring mommy Max says running up to me, I pick him up and kiss his cheek then set him down.

Max made pancakes she tells me and I look at her confused, it's like waffles but they taste differently she says.

I sit down and she gives me a plate with some syrup on I'm guessing the pankcakes.

She gives Max his and she sits down try it, they're good she tells me taking a bite outta hers.

Especially because their blueberry pancakes she continues, I cut a piece and take a bite outta it.

Like it? She ask and I nod, good, you like it Max? She ask him and he nods so we contuine eating.

( at Skylar's mom's house)

We just got to Skylar's mom's house walking in hey mom Skylar says setting Max down.

Hi guy's she replies getting up, I'll be back later Skylar tells her.

Where you going? I ask her, oh, I forgot to tell you, I have an interview to do she says.

Interview? I question confused, an interview is a conversation where questions are asked and answers are given she replies.

Oh I say kinda nervously, don't worry, I'll be back okay she tells me and I nod.

She kisses my forehead I love you she says walking up to Max, I'll be back, can you be a man and look out for mommy and grandma for me, can you do that? She ask Max.

Yes he replies, good, be good she tells him kissing his cheek standing up.

Be back she says to Nina kissing her cheek then walks out of the door, she'll be back Nina tells me while I nod.

( later that night) ( 6pm)

-Skylar's POV-

The interview went great so after words I went back to my moms and we spent the whole day over there.

Now we're eating dinner and my mom and I are telling stories a few months after you left I graduated highschool I tell Lisa taking a bite outta my mash paoteos.

Graduate? Lisa questions, it basically means I was done with school so I don't want to go back there anymore I replie.

Yeah and this one over here didn't want to go to her prom mom says, I sigh I thought we talked about this, I didn't want to go because I didn't have a date and no friends to go to the prom with just to hangout I say.

And I didn't want to go anyways I contuine taking a sip of my water, prom? Lisa questions confused.

It's a formal dance, especially one held by a class in high school or college at the end of a year mom tells her.

And this one didn't want to go she continues pointing at me, why didn't you want to go? Lisa ask me.

Like I said, I didn't have someone to take and I didn't have friends to go with I replie.

And if I went anyways, I probably would have gotten bullied I continue.

( 9:30pm)

-Lisa's POV-

Skylar is upstairs going to the bathroom before we leave what makes a prom so special? I ask Nina.

Well, a night that the kids can go and have fun snd enjoy themselves she replies.

Then I wanna throw a one for Skylar I say, why do you wanna do that? She questions shock.

It seems nice and because Skylar didn't go, I want to do that so she can go I replie.

She smiles she's lucky to have you and it'll be our secret she says with Skylar coming down the stairs.

Ready? Skylar ask me, yep, ready I replie giving her a small smile.

I'll see you tomorrow Nina tells me, okay, see you tomorrow I say walking out of the house with Skylar and Max in my arms asleep.

What are you coming back here for? Skylar ask while we get in the car, we're gonna spend the whole day together I replie lying.

Awe, that's cute that you want to spend time together she replies smiling.

I give her a small smile while I look out the window, I have no idea what a prom looks like or how to throw one but that's why I got Nina.

We get to her house walking and head to her room, I lay Max in bed and we change into our pajamas.

We get into bed and I cuddle next to her night Skylar I say kissing her cheek, night Lisa she replies putting my head on her chest while I shut my eyes letting sleep take over me.
