A Sister's Tale

Prologue:

Long ago in a far away castle lived a girl named Lorica she belonged to the Astral kingdom which was a prominent kingdom that thrived within the middle ages.Her duties consisted of formalizing the laws of the land and making sure all the needs of the people were fulfilled sometimes she longed for the life her sister Loren had.All she ever had to do was make all the special events such as anniversaries,birthdays you name it she did it and very well might I add.Her parents always told her the reason why they gave her such a simple task because she was never all that bright and that Lorica was a born leader who was independent and could stand on her own.She believed it but at times she also regretted it she felt because her duties it took a lot time out from her own social life to meet new people and really build relations with her people.

Though she never tried to show it to anyone and pretended to be the courageous and independent ruler everyone saw her as.

......And so our story begins!

Chapter One: Greetings

"Loren are you about ready we have to go meet the princes soon!" Lorica yelled to her sister who was still in the bathroom after 4 hours. "YOU KNOW THIS IS A BIG TIME FOR US I NEED TO MAKE SURE I LOOK MY BEST FOR THEM THEY ARE TWINS AFTER ALL" Loren yelled back a bit annoyed by her sister.She then strutted out the bathroom with her dress train behind her and walked over to her sister "So do I look hot or what ? " she said smiling at her own vanity. Lorica just looked at her and shook her head "What is the word as in just what are you wearing?" she said in a disapproving tone.Loren rolled her eyes and sighed loudly "Jhee sis I always forget how much of a downer you can be your such a stickler to the rules why don't you try wearing some of the dresses from the other lands for a change ?" she said.

"Probably because they look ugly like your dress and besides I have a reputation to uphold among the people and the other kingdoms I have no time for such foolish folly unlike you" she simply glared at her and walked out to the courtyard.Loren thought to herself "She needs to get laid sooner than later I'll give up at least one prince so she can stop bitching" she slowly inhaled and tried to shrug off the thought and left to go meet the princes in the courtyard.

As soon as they reached the courtyard a huge smile spread across both their faces as they saw just how attractive the princes were honestly you couldn't even tell they were twins because they looked so different. Lorica whispered to her sister "I think their fraternal twins I call dibs on th- " before Lorica could finish her sister was off with the races with the one twin she was about to lay claim to.Inside Lorica was face palming but decided to just shrug it off and settle for the other prince who looked over at her smiling haplessly.

She couldn't help but smile back at him walking over to approach him she did curtsy for him.He looked at her in awe enraptured by her beauty and seemingly kind demeanor."Hi i'm Eros of the Blanche kingdom of the stars it's a pleasure to meet you princess Lorica" he bowed before her and stood on one knee taking her hand placing a light kiss on it. Lorica tried not to blush and therefore looked away "You may stand I wouldn't want you to um...hurt yourself " she said slightly stuttering".He could sense she had mixed feelings of nervousness and shyness towards him so he decided to try to be more subtle with his flirting.

She moved a strand of her dark blue hair back and glanced at her sister with the other prince who seemed to be having a great time laughing and smiling.She almost felt like they were laughing at her with her sad attempt trying to talk to a boy and find love.Eros stood up and dusted himself off looking at her then glancing at her sister with his brother Eron."They seem to be having fun so why don't we have some fun to" he spoke looking at her smiling showing off his white radiant teeth." I'd love to Prince Eros" she smiled back at him locking arms with him and dragging him along the courtyard.

"Well aren't we a bit feisty pretty sure i'm the one who leads here" he joked walking arm and arm with her taking in all of the sights."Oh...I'm sorry I just thought you might want to go somewhere a little more relaxing" she said slightly blushing glancing up at him and trying to let go of his arm but his arm seemed to stay stagnant."I'm not letting you go that easy beautiful this day just got started".The two walked happily across the courtyard and to the gates of the city where they went to enjoy a wonderful dinner in the finest restaurant Lorica had ever seen.

Back at the Courtyard....

"I thought they would never leave jhee now how about we go out to-" she was interrupted by someone crying she looked around only to find it was Prince Eron who was crying."....Are you okay" she asked concerned about him "N-n-no I can't do this I simply cannot do this!" he answered with a tears flowing down.She took a step back and proceeded to look at him wondering what in the world was going on this was the second time she saw a man cry other than her father when he lost a bet."I was set up to go on a date and one day marry one of you but I can't I love someone else! " he screamed out.She looked around as people were starting to come outside to see what was going on she simply grabbed him and dragged him away to a secluded area for them to talk.

"Okay now what is going on and who is this person you love also why are you going on a date if you love somebody else?" she asked annoyed by his constant wailing."Her name's Tessa the woman I fell in love with we've been dating for a long time but my parents hate her and feel she isn't worthy to be dating a prince of such high statutes" he said sadly."So what if you love her you love her who cares what your parents think at the end of the day she makes you happy right? she said folding up her arms to her chest."I wish it was that easy but it's not she's merely a peasant woman for lack of a better word and my parents said if I didn't break it off with her to and marry another royal they would take my crown" he spoke bitterly recalling the incident."Do you really care that much about a royal title that you would just forsake her ? " she asked him looking down at him.

"Well yes and no" he spoke but Loren wasn't having it "Just answer the damn question yes or no if it's yes then she wasted her time on you if not then why don't you two just run away together". He looked at her in disbelief because of her boldness and finally answered her "I love her more than words can describe and I don't think anyone will be able to make me feel the same as she does I don't know it's just when i'm with her nothing else matters".He smiled thinking about her and shook his head at how big of a cry baby he was being.He finally stood up and looked at her then said "It seems I've always been the big cry baby out of the family Tessa's right about one thing I need to stand up to my parents and for myself for that matter"."If not for yourself then nothing else" she said proud of him for making the right decision.

"I'm gonna go stand up to my parents and i'm gonna marry Tessa whether they like it or not no one's gonna change that ! " he said triumphantly and marched off into the kingdom to meet his parents.She watched him go and simply shook her head "another idiot in love to add to the liter it seems" she thought to herself as she went to the rose gardens.

"You can come out now Tessa" Loren said as a young woman with long blonde tresses who was hiding in the courtyard stood up and walked over to her."So you saw me?" Tessa said all disappointed."Yes I did it was pretty easy when you see a blonde moving bush" Loren laughed looking at her."I had to get up my butt was hurting the ground is not nice to for sitting at least for a long time" as she spoke she rubbed her butt looking up at her."I'd think it wouldn't be i'm not even gonna ask how you got here nor am I going to report it your boyfriend's in there with his parents I would go in there to help if they ask why you're there just say I sent for you alright?" Loren said flipping her hair to the side."Y-Yes thank you so much for everything your highness! I'll make sure you won't regret it!" Tessa ran over to hug her but Loren just waved her off.

"Just go in there already" Loren smiled pointing to where she needed to go."I'll be in there in a little bit I just need to clear my head for a bit" she said tiredly Tessa nodded and went inside to the castle.Not to long after the young princess found herself nodding into a peaceful deep sleep.
