"Loren come on out so I can see your dress!" yelled an excited Lorica sitting in her chair waiting outside the dressing rooms.Loren looked at herself in the mirror admiring the beautiful flowing white mermaid dress she smiled not being able to contain her happiness for her upcoming marriage. She slides her feet into her silver high heels and walks elegantly out the room striking a pose for her sister "So how do I look sis?" Loren said happily. "Oh my god Loren you look amazing" Lorica said running over to her younger sister who was eighteen and Loren being sixteen. In the Astral Kingdom aging usually stopped at twenty-five and for some it could even end at thirty years old it all depended on the person in this case Lorica and her sister would end aging at twenty-three.

"I have to say i'm so excited for this sis I've never been so happy in my entire life I think he's the one no I know he is and I just wish Dylan was old enough to be the ring bearer if only he was two years old already" Loren said unable to hold back her infectious smile causing Lorica to smile even more. "I hope one day I'll find love and get married I already know what our wedding is gonna look like" Lorica said dreamingly. Loren.Loren just smiled at her "I know you're gonna get married you're too good of a woman not to just don't fall for any guys that aren't worth your time" Loren said trying to give her sister some advice. "Of course I won't Loren now are you gonna get that dress or try on a new one?" Lorica asked her sister looking at her dress. All of the sudden a woman came running into the store like a mad woman both her and her sister turned around staring the woman down. "YOUR MAJESTIES! YOUR MAJESTIES! I HAVE WORD FROM THE ROYAL CONTINENTAL!" the woman scream with tears coming down her face.

Both sisters recognized who she was and identified her as one of the soldiers on standby from the Royal Continental named Maria.Loren and Lorica exchanged worried glances then found themselves looking back at Maria. "What's wrong Maria?" Loren asked sitting down on the bench and Lorica following suit. "It's about Octavion...i'm sorry Loren but he died in an ambush by the enemy" Maria said tearfully not being able to look up at them. "Excuse me what? That-that can't be I mean it's Octavion after all he wouldn't just die like that what about the other troops?" Loren asked still trying to hold out hope for her fiance.

Maria just simply shook her and started crying even more "I'm afraid we lost at least 25 troops and Octavion 15 troops were injured there's no way he could had made it he got shot right in the heart and by the time medics came it was too late" Maria said sadly.Loren could no longer hold back her salty tears as streamed down her face staining her perfectly white dress. Lorica grabbed her sister in a tight embrace to comfort her she knew there was nothing really she could say to comfort her for she just lost the second most important thing in the world to her.

At the funeral....

Many people far and wide from different kingdoms to see the final send off the lost soldiers in battle and Loren's fiance.Everyone treasured their work and loyalty to the kingdoms so it wasn't a wonder all those people came but not all were too broken up about the causality.

As Loren and many other families of the soldiers said their final goodbyes putting their bodies to rest the funeral went on as normal but with a eerie silence. When the funeral finally ended the servants of the royal family cleaned up downstairs putting everything away while they did this Loren took the opportunity to try to catch her parents alone.

Loren walked up the staircase into her parents room carrying her young son Dylan she was in a way relieved that Dylan didn't comprehend what was going on but at the same time was broken up because she knew that he would never get to meet his father. But as she thought of this she also questioned why he was put on the front line and not sent on standby which was supposed to be his earlier position. "Hi mom and dad" Loren said lacking any real emotion and sat down on their sofa bench.
