"Excited to make new friends in Derry?" says Dad in the car.
"Yea.." I've been home schooled my entire life so I only had one friend... her name was Sam. She lived next door to me. I miss her already and I saw her ten minutes ago before I left in the car to this new town Derry. It will be my first time in a proper school. Mum said I'll make loads of friends and all that bullcrap.
Dad starts, "I remember when I used to live here as a child... something was odd" oh... I thought he was gonna say it was lovely... not helping dad...
"I moved out with my parents when I was about 14... something was happening around that time... I can't remember what... couldn't have been that bad... because I want to go back!"
"Haha Daren! You're so funny!" ugh. Mum and Dad are just so cheesy and those typical parents that love each other so much. Ew.
5 hours later....
Our car pulls up in a small drive way where a cute little house stands.Next to it... a little run down house.. definitely someone living in it... but they couldn't care less about looking after their porch.
This will be interesting....
