Can I love him-Chapter 1 Past to Now

Chapter 1: The new recruit

I was diagnosed with leukemia. Some signs of it started to show so i kept going to the hospital for check ups. One day I fainted at school so i ended up in the hospital. Then a guy showed up in my room he told me his name is James. I was sixteen years old so he looked one year older than me.

But getting back on track he said there was a cure for my sickness and i couldn't believe it. Until he told me he was a werewolf. I thought he was crazy but at the same time i believed that it was true so i accepted his offer.

He said all it took was one bite and I'd be cured but i would be a wolf for the rest of my life. I didn't care as long as i didn't die.

But that was my mistake... i would have rather died. I had to do things i shouldn't have done. I haven't been hanging out with my best friend Lennin that much but I'm sure he hasn't noticed with all those girls around him at school.

Let me say I've liked him since we met but I've fallen for him and I've fallen hard. But he hasn't notice and I'm glad because I'm scared of hurting him but it sicks being hurt knowing he doesn't feel the same way.

I'm just a weirdo girl with dark brown hair, olive color skin, very light brown eyes that they look yellow-ish, structured cheek bones, and pink lips.

I'm a loner at school. Today is Friday so that means no school for two days thank god.

I'm a junior now but i have only 4 classes to attend to.

I was in my third class and i went out to use the restroom until i bumped into something hard as a wall and fell on my ass. It was Lennin.....

"Chris?" He asked he was a bit shocked since we haven't seen each other for a while.

The last time he saw me i looked very sick because of the cancer but i never told him about it. He'd always ask if i was okay or he would say i looked to pale and sick. But i guess now that i don't look like that.. he's surprised.

"Hey Lenny." I was still on the ground until Lennin pulled me up and crushed me in a bear hug.

"It's been awhile and we don't talk anymore Chris. I missed you. I've been worried last time i saw you, you fainted and went to the hospital."

I never thought he would miss me but i knew i really missed him. Lennin took me out of the bear hug and looked me straight in the eyes and said

"Did i do something wrong for you to ignore me?"

I was sad that i couldn't tell him my secret. It was heart breaking to see him like this but all i could say was...

"No you did nothing wrong it's just that I'm different now. I had things to do i didn't have any time for hanging out....I'm not me anymore Lenny.

He looked at me in confusion but then he smiled and said.

"Why don't tonight we eat at the diner and talk about it?"

The diner was a 50's styled diner me and Lenny always went to eat at. Obviously we dont anymore.

I was about to say yes until i remembered i have a meeting tonight. I was sad that i couldn't go.

"I'm sorry but i can't tonight i have to.......be somewhere."

He looked sad but also a little angry.

"Somewhere? With who huh? Have you been acting like this because of a guy? Are you seeing someone? We've been friends since babies and you choose some guy over me?!"

I was starting to get angry . He didn't know what i had to do! He doesn't know anything and he just assumes.

"You know what you it's none of your damn fucking business!! Also i never thought you would notice how i act now with all the girls hanging around you like some fucking puppies..!

I couldn't punch him so i decided to punch the locker. It made a dent lets just hope no one finds out it was me.

I ran out of school I had to get out of there. I couldn't risk him seeing my eyes or even worse.

Seeing me shift.

Lenny's P.O.V

SHIT!!!!!

I punched the other locker next to the one.. wait what!!!

Oh my god... how the hell did she make that bent. I didn't even make one.

What happened to her? I need to know. One week she looks sick and close to death and the next she looks healthy and alive.

I don't even know how someone can look as sick as she did. The only thing she would say is that she just didn't get enough sleep. I knew it was bullshit but i let it slide then... she fainted....

FLASHBACK

I was looking at her carefully cause she wasn't really looking to well.

"Chris are you sure you're alright?"

She looked at me and smiled but her eyes said something different....it said pain.

"Yea i'm alright Lenny don't worry.. okay?

I looked at her and smiled.

"Okay."

"Good .....good ......Lenny I have to tell you something?"

She looked worried and anxious I began to feel the same.

"What what is it?"

But before she can say anything she looked at me then her eyes rolled back and she fell. I caught her just in time. I was so scared i didn't know what to do i screamed at people to call for help.

PRESENT

When she got out she didn't see anyone, she wasn't in school that much anymore, someone always got her out of school. She managed to have her grades still up. She was different.

But I didn't notice i liked her so much until i felt like i lost her. I probably did I don't know. But i wanna know who she is seeing.

Yes I'm jealous and the only reason why is because i like her so sue me.
