Can I Love Him-Chapter 2 The new wolf

Chris's P.O.V

Right after i was done hunting for food in the woods i went back home that was in the woods.

My wolf side loves to hunt for fresh meat and i don't mind because me and her bonded were like sisters even though technically she's me but not really i cant explain it.

"Of course you can't because you can't stop thinking about Lenny." Warrior said

I called her Warrior because that's what she was to me. She loved it when i called her that so she agreed that i can call her Warrior.

I rolled my eyes at what she just said.

"I'm not thinking about him warrior."

"Yea sure..... but hey your birthday is tomorrow so you'll find your mate so whatever you feel about him will go away."

I was thinking about what she said and i hope she's right.

"Of course I'm right." She smirked cockily.

"Okay go now i have to meet with James today."

"Yea yea yea." And i felt her leave and at that exacts moment i got a txt from James.

"I'm outside your house."

I walked out of my house and smelled a new wolf.

Ok let me explain about myself. When James changed me I was an Omega but then that year a lot of things happened to me which you'll soon find out but i took a power of a Beta i knew for a good reason.

So you see now I'm a beta I have to know every new wolf that comes to our property or our pack.

The girl looked sad and mad but mostly sad.

I was already in front of James and the girl. She looked my age, olive skin, skinny, dark brown hair, and green eyes. She looked pretty nice.

'So what happened James?"

" Her pack got attacked by rogues so everyone in her pack died but her."

You see when there's a serious problem me and James get straight to the point.

"Are we taking her in?"

"Already did the ceremony in the morning so now she's in our pack."

I looked at the girl trying to figure her out.

"What's your name?" I held out my hand.

She looked nervous at first but relaxed and and she grabbed my hand to shake.

"Olivia."

"Hello Olivia I'm Chris the Beta of this pack I'm guessing you'll be staying here with me then. I have rules for this house were gonna be alone here because my family is not here and they will never be here ok?"

"Yes Beta."

I smiled i have a feeling she'll be cool.

"Sorry if i seem scary but please call me Chris since we'll be roommates we'll be friends."

She seemed happy about it and I'm glad. Yes i can be a softy ok just shush it cause it might ruin my rep.

James looked weird he looked......scared.

"Hey Olivia why don't you go in the house and make yourself feel comfortable I'm gonna talk to James.

She nodded and went in. I looked at James curiously.

"What's up James you look like your keeping a secret."

He looked scared and worried he never looks like.

"No I'm not if anything is wrong I'll tell you."

One last look at him i nodded said goodbye and went inside. I'll find out.

James P.O.V

Damn it!!!!!

She can't know not yet. I mind linked the rest of the pack except for her and Olivia.

"Everyone no one can tell her that Johnathon is back got it?"

Everyone agreed cause everyone knew what happened last year.

He's back It can't be happening.
