The room was silent, but only for a moment. The silence was interupted by a beeping alarm clock. A blonde teen got out of his bed and stretched, turning off the alarm.
"3:30... Ugh, I don't like waking up this early." He rubbed his eye. "But it's the best thing to do since he's not awake for 30 minutes." Going into his closet he quickly grabbed his school uniform and changed. He grabbed his folders and notebooks and put them in his backpack, throwing it onto his back. Going downstairs into the kitchen; no one was awake.
"Good... I can leave before anyone sees me-"
"Morning Garroth!" Someone interupted him.
"Shit..." He thought to himself, hoping it wasn't who he thought it was. He turned around to see it was only his youngest brother. "Oh, hey Vylad."
"What are you doing up so early?" Vylad questioned him, slightly tilting his head to one side as he was still half-asleep. Garroth stayed silent for a bit, trying to think of a response.
"I can't really tell him why exactly..." He thought. "Well," He began responding to his brother. "I could ask you the same thing." Garroth crossed his arms. As soon as Garroth finished his question, Vylad's face glowed.
"Right! I'm so excited for my first year of high school that I decided to wake up early so I can make sure everything is prepared!" Vylad exclaimed. This made Garroth chuckle lightly and shake his head. "What are you laughing for?"
"Vylad, you were always the nerdy type." He joked, making his younger brother roll his eyes. "Anyways, you only need to wake up at 5, school doesnt start till 8." The blonde explained.
"I know that, but you now how I am! Mom says I-"
"Have HAS yeah yeah I know." Garroth inturrupted Vylad.
"Yup! High Achievement Syndrome! And don't forget it!" Vylad laughed. "But why are you awake so early...? You going to school early?" Vylad went back to their previous conversation.
"I'm gonna... go to school early for... club reasons...?" Garroth tried to think of something. Vylad thought for a moment.
"Alrighty then, I won't stop you!" he smiled. "Mom will take me and Zane to school then since dad will be at work." Garroth nodded.
"Right..." Garroth pulled out his phone that he had in his pocket and checked the time. "That reminds me, I should get going!"
"But you didn't have breakfast!" Vylad mentioned. "Luckily me and mom got some donuts yesterday!" He speed-walked over to the frigde and grabbed an éclair, handing it to Garroth. "You shouldnt go to school on an empty stomach." The brunette smiled.
"Heh, thanks Vylad." Garroth returned the smile and took the éclair. "See ya Vylad! I hope you and Zane have a good first day!" Garroth waved to his younger brother as he went out the door. He decided to check the time again. "3:45... I had to wake up before 4... I have no idea what to do in the meantime..." Garroth leaned against a tree he found while walking down his street.

"Hey Teony, you know how you always see me early at the gates before school?" Garroth had asked.
"Mhm." She hummed in response. "Why is that?" Garroth stayed quiet and looked at the ground. "Oh... it has to do with that thing, huh?" Garroth lightly nodded. "Why you bring it up?"
"I was wondering that, if possible, I could come to your house?"
"Of course!" Teony agreed right after Garroth finished his question. "My parents won't mind me having a guy over cause they know I'm into gals." She giggled.
