Ginny laid in her bed, it had been two days after the house elf, Dobby, had been found by her trying to do something to Errol. Although Errol had came back last night perfectly fine, (other than the fact that he flew into the kitchen losing feathers in every one's food, the dramatically fainting,( which was fairly normal. ) Ginny still had a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach about the house elf.
She rolled over, it was probably somewhere around three-thirty in the morning. But she wasn't tired.
The morning dew fogged up her window, as a few small drops of water landed on her window.
She sighed quietly, then got up. She walked down the stairs, and jumped lightly off the last step. The front door was left slightly open and she looked at it for a few moments wondering how long it had been open. She went over to close it but changed her mind and went out the front door. The sun had already risen enough to where dawn had passed. The soft grey sky made the fog and dewy grass look pleasing. Her thoughts were interrupted as she saw the car was gone. She was filled with rage for a few moments, they had left her behind. But it faded, she barely knew Harry. It would have been awkward and crowded if she had gone anyways. She sighed again, this time a bit louder. Ginny sat on the soft grass, her thin pajamas got slightly wet from the dew.
The fog started to lift. Ginny's eyes got heavy at least and she started to doze off. A time later, she did not know how long, she heard a car engine. It sounded familiar to her, extremely familiar. She saw the lights of the car cut through the remains of the fog. Jumping up, Ginny started to panic, she didnt want to be seen yet! And definitely not in her pajamas! Ginny sped back into the house running straight into her mother.
Ginny looked up at Mrs. Weasley and gulped. Her excuse had barely formed as she blurted out:
"I woke up early and went for a stroll!"
Mrs. Weasley smiled, "thats fine dear, have you seen the boys? They seem to have gone off."
Ginny shook her head, and almost responded when outside the sound of the car engine got closer. Mrs. Weasley's face got tomato red and she walked around Ginny.
Ginny sped up stairs and laid on her bed, listening intently to what was going on outside. But she couldn't see them from her window and she could only hear her mothers shrieks. Being still very tired, against her will, she fell asleep. Forgetting about Harry Potter, and the trouble her brothers were into now.
Her dreams were full of uneasy scenarios where she missed the Hogwarts Express, or threw up on the first day, or the most bizarre one where the sorting hat told her she wasn't actually capable of magic, that she was a squib. (excuse me if i spelled it wrong)
She tossed and turned for a few hours until it was a reasonable time In the morning. Ginny rubbed her eyes tiredly, she had completely forgot about the events of earlier that morning.
She looked around her room and rummaged a bit through her things, then headed down stairs.
She walked into the kitchen, and saw Harry Potter, sitting at the breakfast table, her memory flooded back as she squeaked quietly, her face getting red.
Harry waved at her a bit awkwardly, and Ginny ran back, her brain running much to fast for her to calculate.Author's note
