The next day, Veronicas pov
Me and Archie went to the doctor feeling happier than ever. I couldn't believe that we were going to get to see our baby girl or boy today. See how far along I was and that the baby was healthy.
V- Are you excited?
A- Yeah and nervous, what if something is wrong?
V- Nothing will be wrong I promise you!
Dr- Veronica Andrews?
V- Yep that's me.
Dr- Follow me and we will do a check up on that baby!
V- Okay.
Dr- Just lay down her and pull up your shirt, then I will put some of this gel on it. It might be a little bit cold but I think you will be okay.
I did as the doctor told me and the gel was cold but that didn't matter 'cause a few minutes later I could hear the wonderful sound that was our baby's heartbeat. I started crying and I could see that Archie had tears in his eyes.
Dr- That's your baby, you are 14 weeks along.
A- 14 weeks, that's pretty far along.
Dr- Yes, she should start showing a little baby bump soon. Also you will soon be out of the first trimester or according to many pregnant ladies the worst trimester.
V- Really that was the worst part. It wasn't really that bad, I have felt a little bit sick but nothing more.
Dr- That's great, now you two can go home and just enjoy the fact that you're having a baby and we will see each other in a month and then we can find out the sex if you want to?
A&V- Yes!
Dr- Okay lets say that then, see you guys in a month. You will get a time by text if you give me your phone number.
V- Sure lets go fix that, Archiekins wait here wont you?
A- Yeah I will wait here.
V- I will be back in a sec.
Archie's pov
Veronica and the nice nurse went to book a new time for us, the next time we would find out the sex. To me it didn't really matter as long as the baby had Veronicas good looks and brain. When Veronica got back we decided to go to the store and buy some stuff for a party we were hosting the next day. We needed to send out invitations immediately since it was a sort of last minute thing. We were planning on telling everyone about the pregnancy. At the store we bought all kinds of candy and snacks and then we also bought this banderol that said 'We're having a baby' and planned on hanging it in the backyard and in the middle of the party ask everyone to follow us out. Outside we would have it covered and then reveal it for everyone to see. When we got home I started decorating the inside and Veronica started sending out invitations.
A- Ronnie, sweetie, can you come and see if my decorating is approved?
V- Sure Archie.
V- Wow it looks great, it looks like just a normal party and not like we are about to tell everyone that I am pregnant!
A- You mean it?
V- Yes Archiekins. it's perfect. Now lets send out the invitations so that people actually show up.
