Veronicas pov
We had just gotten to LA and were walking around being tourists. I saw on Betty that she missed Jughead and even though I didn't admit it I did miss Archie too. Did I make a mistake leaving him? No I couldn't think like that, Archie and I couldn't be together right now. It didn't work out and now I could just let loose like the old Veronica. I could drink a lot and sleep around and then go back and make up with Archie.

The months went by and Archie never saw Linda or slept with anyone else, he knew that he made a mistake. Veronica went to parties but always ended up leaving early and not going home with anyone. They both missed each other but knew that it was to late to do anything. It had been 4 months.
Veronicas pov
I regretted leaving Archie so much. It was my birthday tomorrow, I was supposed to turn 24. A year ago I had told Archie about my pregnancy. It was the middle of the night. I was in a cab on my way to the airport. I was going home, to Archie. I had booked a ticket without telling Betty so she would wake up not knowing where I was but I didn't care. I needed to go home. Home to Archie.
Archie's pov
I still missed Veronica but she had probably met someone else. It had been almost exactly 4 months since she left. In a month it had been exactly a year since we lost Angel. Tomorrow it was Veronicas 24th birthday. I went to the store I had bought her flowers last year. I asked them to send a bouquet to Veronica's apartment in LA. When I walked out of there I remembered the penny I had seen a year ago. A penny I hadn't picked up cause I thought I had all the luck in the world. I was wrong, I had lost both my wife and baby. Afterwards I walked to Pop's to get something to eat. I sat there eating when I heard the bell at the door at pop's ring but I didn't react until.
