Season1, Challenge 1- The Thousandth Star

Squishing the folded paper together to create a perfect star Chess wondered what she wanted most. She was on her thousandth paper star after all and while she didn't believe in wishes or any bullcrap like that, there was just something fun about reaping the benefits of her labor through frivolity. Sigh, I don't even know what I really want to be honest Chess mentally dramatized. There's too much cool stuff in the world besides how do I know what is what I actually want and not just what I'm expected to want? Unfortunately her pondering was cut short as the star in her hand finished forming.

Twisting it to and fro in her hand, trying to decide what to do she decided the only logical thing. Fudge it let's go with adventure or some crap like that. Flipping if through her fingers one last time she dropped it into the jar with the wish for adventure.

She stood there for a minute Wow it's almost like I thought something would happen or something. Snorting she plopped down on her computer to play some Minecraft. The shortcut sat where she had placed it, dead center of her screen ("'Cause it's the center of my life" she had said dragging it to the middle while her sister shook her head jokingly in the background). Dragging her mouse over she went to click the Single player button when suddenly a flash of light went off.

Closing her eyes to the bright onslaught of color she mentally berated herself I knew I should've bought one of those fudgin surge protectors. Rip my life. When she opened her eyes however, she quickly decided that a surge protector was in fact not what she needed.

Everything was made of blocks. Not even an exaggeration. Sure the landscape was fricken gorgeous, but it was still block-like. There were vines hanging from tall trees with massive leafy flat tops. Flowers littered the ground giving off a slight light around them, and each one had its own exquisite look. Grass blades waved to and fro in the breeze and a blocky sheep with black wool that could compete with the blackness of her sister's soul. Wait. Blocky sheep. You're fudging kidding me-

"This is Minecraft?! But I fudging like different shapes!" Chess exclaimed.

Another horror greeted her when she thought of something. Am I gonna be one of those ugly-hiny Minecraft avatars? I know my skin is Alex so I'm screwed to look like a noob forever. Quick I gotta check, F5! Along with this mental proclamation came the oh-so stunning realization that she didn't have a keyboard. Come on you idiot, think about how it worked in the The Gamer or SAO, use vocal commands.

"F5." Nothing happened. "Uhhhh... Inventory?"

Unlike the anticlimactic F5 command this one brought up the usual Minecraft inventory. Wait. Why am I not square? Chess's mental confusion was justified as she looked exactly as she did in real life, from the brown hair and pale skin all the way down to the borderline Goth clothing she wore. At least I still have my combat boots. Armor is gonna look hecka strange on though. Wait!! What the fudge am I doing primping?! I'm gonna fudging die! I fricken suck at Minecraft.

With a new fervor Chess beat an entire small little jungle bush tree to death, noticing her hands remaining unaffected. The tree actually had square branches and twigs, and was pretty much just a normal tree that could somehow be mined from the bottom up and was square based. A couple of saplings littered the ground beside her, which she picked up along with a few seeds she had gotten by killing grass.

Due to her stupidity from earlier, the sun was already beginning to set. The pink and orange of the sunset was alluring and gorgeous, but for once Chess did not stop to view the beautiful world that she would have usually fangirled over for a solid minute, but instead dug herself a three brick hole. Very funny. She thought sarcastically as she found she was just a teeny bit shorter than a Minecraft character would've been.

"Hotbar." She whispered as it turned to complete night hoping it would appear on command as well, which it did, complete with wood, dirt, saplings, and seeds. However she couldn't switch her fists. Fudge. Fudge. What the fudge do I do? Calm down. Zombies growled nearby.

"Dirt!" She practically shouted, in response dirt actually appeared in her hand, which was lucky since it seemed as though the zombies got closer, like they could hear her.

Panicking she almost dropped the dirt but managed to fill in the top. Footsteps sounded over top of her. Drawing a sharp intake of breath she bit her lip, This Minecraft better not let mobs break blocks. Oh fudge please don't let them break blocks. Almost like a triumphant "fudge you" scratching sounds were heard from above with dirt falling atop her head. You had to fudging jinx it. Please go away, just go away. The scratches continued. Fudge this crap, if I'm gonna die I wanna die on my terms. With that she dug a couple blocks to the right, filling in behind her, then digging down a couple.

The sound went away and she stood there, breathing shallowly, choking back shaky laughter until she collapsed.

Sun poke through the dirt a bit, and oddly enough Chess could almost swear she heard birds chirping. I gotta get out of here, I have to get stronger or I'll die. So she broke the dirt above her, hoping it really was day, hoping she wouldn't die. Feeling her heartbeat in her stomach she laughed a bit as the tightness in her chest unraveled; it was day.

"Who are you?" A voice suddenly broke out from behind her.

Chess jumped, ready to get back in the hole, she didn't have any weapons, and she sure as heck wasn't any sort of body builder.

"Are you deaf?!" The unknown figure sharply queried.

What a pretentious little bastard. Screw them.

"I don't know, am I?" Asked Chess, whirling around to face the probably dangerous person, only to be shocked, I'd know that skin anywhere I didn't realize they were that old though "You're fudging Alex?"

Fudge that was a bad idea, they're probably going to attack me now. Wait, is that a pet wolf? I'm screwed. They attack me, their dog attacks me too. She let her shoulders drop and lowered her head.

Softening her voice she tried again. "I don't know who I am? What is this place? What the fudge is going on? All I know is when I saw you I automatically knew your name."

Alex paused, just like Chess had expected she would, after all who attacks an amnesiac person?

"Come with me, I'll get you somewhere safe. We'll find out who you are." Alex put her hand on her shoulder and steered her through the viny jungle. Finally they reached their destination, A jungle temple... if the traps are still installed we're dead, but if she knows I know what that is... Rip.

Alex seemed to scan her face looking for a reaction, and it took every ounce of self control for Chess to keep a straight face. Apparently satisfied she turned right, leading up to a tree. Yuss a motherfudgin tree house, I gotta get away from her soon, but there are monsters out there and not here. Grabbing a hold of the vines Alex gestured for Chess to follow her. She complied. I guess it's time for that adventure I wished for.

So that's my story for the first challenge which is to make a Minecraft fanfic with certain words. If you can somehow not tell the ones I chose were: Alex, zombie, jungle temple, pet wolf, and myself as a contestant. I tried to keep myself as in character as possible while simultaneously making fun of Minecraft fanfics. I am honestly considering continuing this story cause that was fudging fun to write. As a bonus I'm gonna add some of the bloopers/story ideas I didn't use at the end here.
