Treading Upon Dreams

The world around me makes me wonder.

What exactly I'm walking on.

Soil? The Earth?

Dead skin that everyone drops every step they take?

Everyone has their thoughts and opinions.

And my thoughts lead me to think.

That we are all walking on dreams.

Think about that throughly.

Every being that "treads" upon this world.

That our minds created.

Through simple, yet strong.

"Thinking"

Imagining what we want to be a reality.

But dreams

They're different from the thinking and imagining.

We dream when our eyes are closed.

And when our minds are fragile.

Our dreams drift through the air.

Invisible to those who do not realise.

We are all treading on other people's dreams, and your own.

Walking all over them.

And some of those darkened souls, that don't even care.

They just stomp, and emit chaos through their walking.

Their "treading"

They don't care whose dreams they walk on, they don't care.

And those souls that don't care will just keep on walking.

Their pleasure and joy coming from walking.

All over other people's dreams.

But not all dreams break.

The dreams that I dream will hover over the ground, they will not settle.

My dreams will not kneel, or cringe back from those that.

Don't care.

My dream is not alone, other people's dream are strong like mine.

We raise up against those souls.

That don't care.

Dream big, then bigger!

And finally when you reach your goal.

Your dream will stand solid.

And nobody will ever walk upon them again.

So you see young ones that don't know what they tread upon.

You're all walking upon dreams of every being with a breath.

Tread lightly, and kindly.

And you will not regret.

For those that don't care.

Have a real beating coming for them.

A beating by the people that dreams stood tall.

They will cower below those with strong dreams.

So our ground is dreams, that are hovering right above our world.

Tread lightly my child.

Tread lightly.
