As I stare out into darkness
I see a little light
It's so beautiful
I'm filled with delight
As I walk a little further
It's so clear to me
That darkness is a state of mind
Light is everywhere
So I think to myself
Why have I led myself to believe
That darkness was everywhere
When obviously
The answer is
Darkness is nowhere
But if you choose to believe
That it's not a state of mind
Then i'm sorry
For what a sad life
You must have
For darkness is a state of mind
There is light in everything
Just read the Bible
And you will see
