Chapter 3

Masky's POV

"Let's do this." she smiled.

"Oka-" I couldn't finish what I was saying. That same feeling of lightheartedness came back to me. She must've noticed because she gave me a dumbfounded look. "You okay, Mask Boy?"

My vision started to deteriorate and I fell down on my hands and knees. I couldn't fight it anymore, I completely fell limp to the ground and everything went black.

My eyes groggily opened and met with a girl with dirty blonde hair staring me down. I sat up from the couch I was passed out on and tried to figure out where I was.

Her expression turned from an intrigued look, to a surprised one.

"Hey Izzy, the prostitute you brought home is awake!" she yelled, still staring at me.

I shot her an annoyed glare.

"For the last time, Libby, he's not a prostitute. Why do you think every guy I bring home is a prostitute?"

"Because, I don't believe you can get a guy to willingly hang out with you unless you pay them." she smirked.

"Shut up or I'll literally kill you." she growled.

"Fine, but you have to admit, he does look like someone who likes to roleplay, I mean, look at that mask."she said poking at a hard shell over my face.

It was finally then when I realized that mysterious mask was once again on my face.

"No." I whispered.

"Yes." Libby whispered back with her finger still glued to the mask.

I smacked her finger away and ripped off the mask. "What happened? Who are you?" I asked staring at the mask.

Izzy sat about 2 feet away from me, "You don't remember?"

I shook my head and stood silent not breaking contact with the mask.

"We'll be right back, we have to...go to the bathroom." Libby lied. She's not very good at it either.

She grabbed Izzy's hand and flew out of the room.

I sat there awkwardly, staring at the interior of their house, wondering how I got here.

Ugh, why can I never remember? While I was thinking I sarted to hear screaming from what I presume was the bathroom. Thinking they would be there for a while, I decided to adventure around their house.

I got up from the white leather couch and started to look around.

A picture stood on a table next to the tv. It was of the two girls when they were a few years younger, and instead of bright vibrant colors in Izzy's hair, it was a dull, brown color just like mine. But her eyes, they were a bright sky blue. Dull in comparison to my dark brown ones. She was really pretty.

I shook my head in realization that that wasn't important. I had to try. I had to try to think of what happened. Why am I here? What did I get myself into?

I eventually decided that it would be best to get out of where I was. So, while they were in the bathroom, I grabbed the mask and snuck out through a low window. I made sure to close it behind me. Who knows what other creatures are lurking around that are worse than me?

Looking around, I had a crestfallen look, due to the fact that I had never seen that part of town, and had no idea where I was.

"Crap." I muttered.

"Hey, Masky!" I heard a voice yell.

"Double crap." I mumbled once again to myself.

I quickly pulled the mask I had in my hands over my face and looked in the direction of the voice to see it was that kid: Toby.

Apparently, Toby and I are friends when I had the mask on, and when it was off, there's no telling what he would do to me. I really didn't want to find out anyway.

"I've been looking all over for you!" he grinned. Or atleast I assumed he grinned, I couldn't really tell with his mask on.
