Chapter Nine : Lost

"I tell you I absolutely have to see him."

"If you aren't a parent, a family member or even a tutor, you're not allowed to visit him."

He suddenly put both his hands on the counter. The young woman jumped in her chair with his gesture.

"It's an emergency. So, I'm asking you one last time, let me go see him," Kidou said between his clenched teeth, already having enough to be in that damn hospital. It already has been five minutes that he was trying to convince this stubborn receptionist.

"Sir, I told you that-"

"Mademoiselle, can you accede to his request ?"

Both the receptionist and Kidou raised their heads towards the newcomer. A handsome young man stood in front of them, dressed in a well-ironed gray suit and his hands covered with leather gloves, his coal black hair gracefully falling before his dark green eyes, sparkling with a mischievous glow, tasting a very familiar taste... Kidou smiled in spite of himself.

"Excuse me ?" The woman managed to stammer, squirming in her seat in front of that intense gaze on her.

"Seitei himself, being Amemiya Taiyou's guardian, gave him the permission to visit him. So, it's your job to let him see him."

"Seitei ?"

"Yes. Seitei Ishido Shuuji. I guess you already know him, don't you ?"

She bit her lower lip, looking at her pc screen to the young man, before finally sighing. She nodded slowly.

"Room 238, third floor."

"Thank you."

"I'm going to accompany you."

Kidou stared at the other man for a moment, before nodding and continuing his way to the elevators that lined up near the stairwell. And when they got there, the doors of the nearest elevator slid, a young man in a wheelchair appearing in front of him.

"Oh, sorry."

"No, don't worry," Kidou smiled, who cleared his way.

"Thank you."

The young man continued his way to the exit, smiling at the people he met.

"His name is Tsurugi Yuuichi."

"Tsurugi Yuuichi..."

"I guess you already know his little brother."

Kidou nodded affirmatively, watching the doors closing on them. The young man pressed the button number 3.

"I didn't expect to find you here, Toramaru."

"And I could tell you the same thing. I never thought that Gou- I mean, that Seitei calls you for help."

"He also surprised me," Kidou replied with a small smile.

Gouenji was always full of surprises. Who would have thought he would fallen in love with him...

"He told me, about your relationship."

Toramaru turned his head in his direction with a smirk in the corner of his lips.

"Who would have thought you would end up together ?"

"What are you trying to do, exactly ?" Kidou asked, his cheeks flushing completely.

"Nothing at all, Kidou-san."

The youngest didn't have changed after 10 years. Always as teasing as before. Kidou wasn't surprised that Toramaru was one of the few people at Gouenji's side. He has always been full of admiration for him, and although he could disagree about his ideas and decisions, he would always be the first to follow him and support him. Kidou was happy to know that Gouenji was not really alone in the end.
