Chapter 53 - The End

Many Years Later

Lina and Daesung did end up leaving New York together. Lina had caused an uproar in doing so. YGK Plus had to sue Imagine due to a breach in Lina's contract. In the contract, Lina was supposed to be taken care of 24/7 with a Korean translator following her everywhere. She was also supposed to have a manager to assist her everywhere so that Lina wouldn't get lost. They won the case after back and forth arguments and Lina got a lot of money from it.

Lina was happy to be back home. After a few years back in Korea, working as a model, she was scouted by a famous company based in New York, Paris and Milan called Women Management. Co-signing with them was the best thing for Lina. Lina's modeling career was short lived but the agency Women Management had offered to broaden her knowledge as a designer and had her going to school for it. For next few years, Lina had been traveling back and forth between Paris and Korea.

Daesung had gotten used to having a popular girlfriend. In Japan, while promoting, he'll often see some VIPs holding up small signs with Lina's name on it. He didn't understand why since she would never attend a concert with him.

His attraction towards Lina has never once wavered. In fact, it's only gotten stronger. After a few years, both Lina and Daesung had spoken to each other about marriage. Feeling they were both ready to make the comitment to each other. However, Daesung had been carrying around the ring for two months before having that serious conversation. He was happy that she was on the same page as he was. He wanted to spend the rest of his life as Lina's husband.

The next few years, Lina had refused to visit Hong Bin in jail. She had received letters from him but she has never replied. She hasn't even opened them. She was sadden by how huge the impact Hong Bin had in her life. It was like a piece of her had broken off. Hong Bin of course, had been in Lina's life since elementary when he was protective of both her and Su-Bin. At some point, Lina mistook his overbearing and unhealthy actions as a form of love and she was glad Daesung had shown her the actual meaning of it. If not for him, she'd still probably be by Hong Bin being emotionally tormented by him.

Lina and Daesung also moved in together after a few years. Nobody knew about their living situation except the memebers, their other half and Su-Bin. YG also had no idea. They didn't need him to know due to the fact that he'd be against it the moment it was brought up. So they kept it a secret.

One day, both Lina and Daesung had time off. Their odd schedules always consisted of them missing one another. However, this time, they were both off. Lina sat on the couch reading a magazine and Daesung's head in her lap as he read a book. Lina had a facial mask on and Daesung only wore his boxers. They were comfortable with each other that when Daesung looked up and saw Lina with green gunk on her face, he smiled to himself.

"Marry me." He says and watches Lina pause half way from flipping a page.

"What?" She asks, moving the magazine to look down on him.

"Marry me. Let me be your husband." He says, continuously looking up at her.

"Are you really asking me while I look like this?" Lina asks.

Daesung nodded. "You're perfect."

That was how Daesung proposed to Lina. Now he was on his way to pick Lina up from the airport after she had to leave for Paris. She was gone for two weeks before finally returning. When she entered his car, she was instantly pulled in for a hug and a kiss from her fiance. There were balloons in the back seat along with a box that held a cake.

"I hope you don't mind we go straight there because the cake I bought is ice cream cake." He says pulling out of the airport.

Lina shook her head. "It didn't occure to you to get the ice cream cake on the way back?"

Daesung smiled while intertwining his hands through hers and pulling it up to kiss the back of it. "Not until you mentioned it."

Lina smiled and shook her head. "I don't think Jae Joon is going to enjoy the fact that his birthday cake has melted."

"He's a todler. I've seen him chew on Seung-Hyun's phone, Jang Mi's makeup brushes and both of their keys. He'll definitely eat a melted cake." He replies turning into the apartment complex. "Looks like the other members are here too." Daesung says, pointing at the cars he recognized.

"Nabi hates Ji Yong's car." Lina says as they park next to Ji Yong's car that followed a futuristic theme. "She told me she didn't know how to open it the whole time she dated him."

"Would you stop hanging out with Nabi?" Daesung asks as they both got out. "I don't need to know any more personal information between the two of them."

Lina went to the back of Daesung's car and met with him. Daesung went straight for the cake and told Lina to carry the balloons. "I'm not telling you too much details. She does tell me though. Too much things about Ji Yong. Some stuff I've never dreamed about knowing when I wasn't a celebrity."

"How does she have the time to tell you any of this?" He asks as they enter the apartment complex and greet the security guard.

They walked towards the elevator and Lina clicked the up button before turning to him. "You would never believe how rich she is." She clicked her tongue and shook her head. "Once when I was in Paris, she called me and was like, where are you? So I told her I was in Paris and she asked for how long and I told her for a week. Then she was like, I'm coming and then she hangs up." The elevator doors open and they both get in.

"That sounds like her other half."

"Yeah and she ended up showing up and just followed me through out my schedule for a day before leaving that same day she came." Lina complained before pressing their destined floor. "That's how she tells me all these things. She just jumps on a plane and meets me on the other side of the world."

Daesung sighed and nodded happily. "Well it's good her company is doing great. I heard she's been working really hard on it."

The two exit out from the elevator and made their way to Seung-Hyun's mom's apartment. As they were leaving the elevator, they both heard the emergency door for the stairs opening up and laughter spilling out in echoes. The two looked over curiously and spotted Seungri and Su-Bin.

Seungri was fixing his shirt and his hair. Su-Bin was running one hand through her hair while the other pulled her dress down. Upon spotting them they immediately paused and looked away for a second.

"It's not what you think." Seungri says.

Lina scrunched up her face when she saw Su-Bin smirking. "Oh lord." She sighed while shaking her head at the two. "Cha Su-Bin! You can't be doing these things in public. It's gross and he's an idol."

Su-Bin lifted her hands in surrender. "It wasn't me. He was the one who suggested it."

Seungri scoffed in disbelief. "Throwing your man under the bus." He says softly. "It's not my fault. I told her not to wear this dress because it was too sexy and-"

"Nope! We're not listening to this." Daesung took hold of Lina's arm and rushed her towards their destination. "The ice cream melting is not worth this story." Lina could only giggle at her fiance's words.

And the two lived happily ever after.

I apologize for having you all wait so long on updates but Wattpad has been acting up. The ending doesn't feel like an ending right? It's because Daesung and Seungri's story with be along the same time line.

I also had a panic attack due to the false alarm for the missle launch in Hawaii.
