I ran as fast as I could back to our pack's territory, my eyes bloodshot red from crying, my heart still racing from the amount of fear that had built up all in one split second upon hearing his roar above me. He took Hannah, he took her away from us, her home, from me.
I kept running, not caring about the tree's thin branches that smacked my face or the bushes that scratched up my legs. I needed to find the rest of the pack, I have to get help. I must get Hannah back.
With a burning sensation flowing through my chest, I growled gutturally in the back of my throat, allowing the burn to explode through my body. I lurched forward as my fingers retracted into my palms, my skin growing the natural earthly brown fur, my body developing into my truest form.
My paws slammed against the ground as i came to my Wolf senses, snorting a growl through my nose and halted to a stop. I shook out my fur before sitting down and letting out a long, echoing howl to the sky, sending it through the trees and scare away the birds who tried to nestle for the night, then ran again in the same direction.
My dug my claws into the earth, snarling through every pant I made to get back faster. I jumped over the fallen tree trunks and ran through shrub, knocking them down and uprooting anything that got into my way.
It wasn't long until I heard the voices of my sisters come into my mind, clouding and fogging my head all at once like a oncoming storm:
Gi what's wrong?
What happened?
Are you okay?
Why are you calling us?
What's going on?
Gi? Why did you howl?
SHUT UP AND MEET ME AT MY HOUSE, I snarled a roar as I thought back at them, hearing their stampede of paws running far behind me, but catching up to me. They all awoke with such fear from my howl, but they don't even know the worst of it yet.
I jumped through the shrub that lined the property of the shack Hannah and I stay in, sending a bush or two flying in that direction while leaves exploded around me. I came to a stop, pacing around in a circle and panting through my bared teeth. I heard my sisters on their way, still asking me what's wrong. I was too terrified, but my terror turned into anger, to answer them, I can't believe he took her away. She has no business being over there, he should know that, he's the freaking Alpha for fuck's sake.
My rage had built up in me, my fur rose off my back as I stood on my hind legs only to send my front paws thundering down into the ground before me, roaring as loud as I could downward into the earth as it cracked outward and dented inward.
It was at that same time my sisters had came from the line of shrub and saw me, Katie snapping her teeth at me for my attention as she thought, GIANNA shut up! The hunter's will hear you and come this way!
The hunters should be the least of your fucking concern, My ears flattened down as I looked at her.
She growled at me for my attitude, beginning to walk around. The others, feeling the tension of the conversation already, stayed where they are. Dani came to me with her head cocked to the side as she looked around at all of us in our wolf forms, Wait a minute, where's Hannah?
Katie and the rest looked around too, then Katie looked at the shack before looking at me, Go wake her up Gi, she needs to be apart of this.
I picked one of my ears up slightly, the rage settling down a bit as I heard her name come up. I gave a short sigh through my nose as my eyes trailed down at the ground, back to the indent I had made in the earth. Katie barked at me to do as she had told me to do, but I stayed still. Frozen almost.
