Yo! I was listenig to this song when I realized that it wa the perfect title for my next Hunter Hayes Imagine espically since it feels like me a little bit. So I thought I would post it on here as soon as possible!

Prompt: She was living it big, performing on stage was her dream come true. She looks back on her past an smiles at the choices she made. All she had to do was get through the auditions and she was fine. She even gets a surprise at the end.

Also before we start; I realize that most of my Imagines aren't Imagines, they are more like one-shots. I apologize for that but i feel like a character should have a name. I am really sorry.

I smiled as I listened to my iPhone, waiting for my turn to impress the judges. I was auditioning for The Voice today much to my mothers wishes. She and I don't get along and she thought it was stupid to do this because if I don't get it she thinks I would have gotten my hopes up. But to be honest I just wanted to have fun. That's why I'm here; to have fun doing what I love to do and to prove her wrong.

"Savannah?" I heard my name being called so I stood up and Walked over.

I was so nervous that I was shaking! Even when I met Carson, I was shaking. He chuckled and gave me a sideways hug. "First time?" I nodded and smiled slightly. "Don't worry. You'll do fine. Do you know who the surprise judge is this season?"

I blinked and cocked my head to the side. "I thought Usher was one of the judges along with Sheika?"

"I guess we'll see when you get the chairs to turn. So where's the people supporting you?"

"Probably at home watching me fail. I kinda left home because my mom was trying to control my life. But I'm gonna to prove her wrong," I said, smiling. "I do have a boyfriend but unfortunately he's on tour so he couldn't be here today."

"Well, I'll be cheering for you," he said as I was told it was my turn.

I took a deep breath and took the microphone. You can do this, Savannah. Prove her wrong, I thought as I stood on the stage with the back of the judges chairs turned towards me. This was it; no turning back now.

The music started and I grinned as memories of the fight my mother and I had before I left.

"Whoa oh"

I was going to get them to turn their chairs even if it killed me.

"My bags were packed from the day I was born

I grinned as Adam hit his button and turned around; one down three to go.
