Ch.3 Family Time

[Violet's Pov]

It had been a full night after i rolled Snake eyes. I passed out from the power usage of making both dice land on their one sides. I had been set in bed by Mr. King Dice, he whispered to others that I had started bleeding purple ooze out of my side.

It was probably from the cracks... my powers... I never knew just rolling two dice terribly on purpose could almost kill you.
I turn my head to see Mr. King Dice crouched up in a worried fetal position and The Devil, with a cigar hanging out of his mouth, both sitting on bright mauve chairs next to my bed.

It looked like Mr. king Dice was crying earlier, his eyes slightly red and puffy. I squinted and rubbed my own eyes. The furry man stood up, and neeled down infront of me, placing his hand on my forehead. He closed his eyes, it was silence between us, Mr. King Dice wiped his eyes once again and looked at the devil anxiously.
I placed my weak hand atop his and moved it away, he looked me in the eyes and sat down comfortably on the floor.

He completely knew what was going on.

He literally read my mind.

I smiled, and stroked his head, like if he was a cat. Mr. King Dice smiled and laughed, The devil himself had started purring.
Mr. King Dice walked over to me, and sat over on my bed and patted my leg carefully. I touched his hand and closed my eyes.

I had to try again.

I don't have enough time.

I have to learn,

Before it's fatal..

I slide hands underneath my purple blanket. I sighed, the devil is reading my mind again.

{"I can't let you do this."}

{"It would break his Heart.}

I could hear my own heartbeat, i think they did too.
They both looked at me.. They we're both concerned,

But I had to practice...

Or I would perish..

I had to do this for my people...

For my home..

For my new Dads,

For my new family...

For me.
