Harry is extremely excited to start working. He can't believe he's actually
going to start his first job today. He's so grateful for Niall being a good friend to him and helping him out.

He got the job very easily and the manager seemed really nice. He didn't even need an interview, that's how nice he was.

Harry is on his way to his first day on the job. He's wearing a hat that he was given and he felt a little different. He always wears his flower crowns and it's what makes him happy. So he doesn't feel like himself and feels a little insecure. He's trying not to think about it though because it is his uniform. Fortunately the hat does cover most of his hair so he tries to see it as a good thing.

Harry finally makes it with five minutes to spare and steps inside the Starbucks. The smell of coffee instantly hits his nostrils and it gives him a warm feeling.

He sees customers all around, some with laptops quietly typing away, others with headphones and some simply drinking their order.

He notices Niall upfront behind the counter and makes his way over there.

"Hi Niall," Harry greets with a smile.

Niall turns around and smiles. "Hey Harry, just in time. Nick told me to tell you as soon as you get here to go in the back. He has a couple of things to explain before you can start."

"Okay." Harry made his way to the back, reassuring himself that he can do this.

Nick, his manager had given him a work schedule for the week explaining that the first week is usually a test. But he reassured Harry that he would do great with a hand placed on his shoulder, slowly dragging it down his arm.

He was also given an apron along with a towel and was told that all he has to do is clean tables. Simple enough for a first days work, right?

Wrong.

Harry's nerves got the best of him and he kept dropping almost everything he touched. Actually making a bigger mess for himself to cleanup.

It also didn't help that he's naturally a clumsy person. Somehow managing to trip over air and bump into a customer, making them spill their drink on themselves.

Harry was so embarrassed and apologized over and over again. Luckily the person didn't seem mad and noticed how genuinely sorry he was.

Harry wanted to cry when Nick had sent him to the back to wash dishes. He knew that this was punishment for not doing a good job in the front.

He hates of how terrible he's doing
and doesn't understand why he always messes things up.

He grabs some gloves and starts washing the piles of dishes there is. The dish pit was at the very end, somewhat hidden in a dim corner. A tear slowly rolls down his cheek as he starts and he was glad no one was around to see him.

After washing countless of dishes, he is finally finished. His hands ache in pain while his back is sore from being slightly bent the entire time.

It didn't help his situation when his unknown co-workers kept bringing in more work for him to wash every half hour. Carelessly dumping them in the sink, making a cluttered mess. He simply thanked them because he was too polite of a person to say other wise.

A girl that Harry assumes that works there told him he has a thirty minute break. He only nodded without answering her and made his way to the front. He sits himself down away from others as he tries to enjoy his break.

He stares out the window and watches the scenery of people walking by. He's thinking about how the day has gone so far and he isn't happy about it. He hopes the rest of the week doesn't go as bad as it did today.
