Harry's eyes fluttered open since the sunlight from the window was shining upon him. He turned around, flat on his stomach and hugged the pillow with content. He fell back asleep in a matter of seconds.
Suddenly Harry opened his eyes in alarm when he realized he was somewhere unknown. He sat up quickly, looking around at his surroundings. He saw a couple of posters on the wall with a bit of miscellaneous laying around. He doesn't remember how he ended up in someone's bed.
He rapidly pulled the comforter off his body, relieved that his clothes from last night were still on. He rubbed his tired face, trying to figure out how he got here.
Then last night's actions came at him strong. The touches, the choking and him on the ground after he was pushed. He shook his head, not wanting to think about the situation he caused. But that still doesn't explain how he got here. So he got up to look around the room to see if it gave him any clues.
Something that stood out right away wass the acoustic guitar in the corner. It doesn't surprise him to see such thing since the walls are covered in various band posters. As well as the collection of cds and old vinyls nearby. Obviously the person whose room this loves music with a passion.
Unexpectedly, he hears light knocking, making him jump. The door slowly opens and Harry's worry diminshes when he sees that it's Niall. He walks in with a gentle smile and sits down on his bed.
"Good morning Harry, how'd you sleep?" Niall asked gently. He gestures Harry to sit down as well and he does.
"Very well, thank you. Is this your home?"
"Yeah it is. You passed out yesterday and I thought it was best to bring you here. Hope it's okay that you stayed here and not at your own home. I didn't want to wake you up."
Harry nodded gratefully. "It's more than okay. Thank you Niall for taking care of me."
"Of course, especially what happened yesterday, I wanted to get you out of there quickly."
Harry shuddered when he mentioned about yesterday's bearings. "Can we not talk about yesterday please."
He looked at Niall's big blue eyes with his own pleading ones. Niall saw the sadness in Harry's emerald eyes so he nodded.
"Good, because I don't want to think about it when I go back to work today."
"Wait Harry you can't be serious! You really want to go back and work for him." Niall looked at him in bewilderment.
"I need the job Niall." Harry quietly said, not use to Niall's voice being raised. He played with the end of his sleeves, avoiding Niall's judgemental eyes.
Niall sighed deeply. "Harry you can't go back there and I won't let you. Unless if you're going to report it then I'll go with you. I'm not even going back, I quit. He's always been a creep to me and after yesterday, I can't work with someone like that."
"But it wasn't that bad, he only touched me. I think I just overreacted and maybe that's what made Louis attack him because of me. He was only helping me and I could've mistaken his nice gesture into something completely different."
Niall couldn't believe what he was hearing. The fact that Harry blames himself is painful to listen to. Even worse is that he's justifying Nick's action as a simple misunderstanding.
"Harry what he did to you is not in any way excusable. He touched you without your consent. He took advantage of you because of his higher authority. Thinking he had the right to do whatever he pleased."
Harry felt the tears he was holding in spill out instantly. He sniffed and wiped his eyes with his long sleeves.
"Did he make you uncomfortable or unsafe with his touch?"
