Prologue
I woke up to the birds chirping out of my window. The sky was a beautiful blue and all was well. Actually. It wasn't exactly this perfect. I woke up to the sound of my parents cursing at me to wake up. I got up and groaned. It was a saturday, but my parents never missed a chance to yell at me and get me up early. I stepped out of my bed and went straight to the bathroom and took off my clothes and jumped in the shower. The warm water felt good on my beaten back, the scars and newly broughten bruises stung and ached. On a lucky day, I would come home from school to see my parents chugging alcohol and screaming at me. I would walk upstairs but my mom would yell at me to come down. Being my 13 year old self I would groan and slug down the steps. I would walk to the table and sit in the chair. My parents would start slapping me hard on the back but they kind of stopped now. After I was done with the shower, I turned on my phone and watched some vines. Making and watching vines was my way to cope with all of the stress in my life. I went downstairs to get a snack and brought the snack up to my room. I continued to watch vines until I saw a vine that caught my eye, it was Hayes Grier and he posted about going to magcon in Miami. I live in Miami. OMG. I have to go.When is it? I looked it up and saw that it was next weekend. I can go with...Oh yeah that's right, I have no friends. I guess I will go alone? No. i'll look like a nerd. I guess I either have to find a friend by next weekend, or go alone. I think I will go alone. Girls these days are too competitive. So, I decided I would go alone. The next weekend came and I was so excited. I wore a rose high waisted skater skirt, with a long sleeved crop top. I curled the bottoms of my ombré brown-to-blond hair so that it would look a bit more springy. I wore my white converse and grabbed my IPhone and I decided to walk since (a) It was beautiful outside and (b) my parents were drunk (again) and I can't drive. I got to the Embassy Suites right near my house and walked in. It was quiet. I looked at the time on my phone and I was 30 minutes early. I went to find a seat in the front row, Since I was so early I read for a little while. My book was about a girl who finds her true love when she is at war (idk if this is a real book so chill) When I was reading girls started to flood in. I put the book in my purse and started to stand up. The show was about five minutes from starting. I was so excited. The boys came out in order of Cameron (Dallas), Nash (Grier), Hayes (Grier) (My favorite), Aaron (Carpenter), Matt (Espinosa), Taylor (Caniff) Carter (Reynolds), and Shawn (Mendes). Then the show started.
