Isaac looked at you from the corner of his eye. You guys were in art class and he was hiding behind his easel pretending to work on his charcoal drawing, but all he could do was look at you.

You fascinated him. To him you were the definition on beauty. Your face was raw and pure, gentle and sweet. Your movements were graceful. He even thought you looked effortlessly beautiful with your hair messily tied up as you painted in class.

To him, you were a work of art.

Suddenly, your art teacher noticed him gawking at you and snapped at him.

"Mr.Lahey, stop staring at Lena. Put your hormones back in your glands and finish working." She said.

Isaac grew red as you shifted your eyes to him. He glared at the teacher. "I wasn't looking at Lena." he lied. "I was gazing at Sabine. She's way hotter." Isaac said, pointing out the girl sitting next to you.

You chewed on your cheek and continued to paint furiously. His insult was down right demeaning and you couldn't take him right now, First it was the rudeness in chemistry, not the insults in art. You wondered if it wasn't too late to switch out of the classes you had with him.

The bell rang before you had a chance to clean up your things. Isaac stayed behind as everyone filed out.

"If your looking for Sabine, she already left you know." you stated. Although you sounded nasty, he could sense the hurt in your voice.

"Look, about that. I'm sorry."

"Apology accepted."

"Wait really?" Isaac said

"Yeah.. as soon as you leave."

Isaac walked forward. "C'mon I didn't really mean it I think your way hotter than Sab-"

Isaac was cut off when he accidentally hit your easel. The easel broke as it hit the ground and your canvas tattered as well. Paint smeared the floor and bits of wood littered the art room.

Both Isaac and you dropped your jaw.

"Oh my.. Lena. I'm so-"

You took a deep, shaky, but relaxing breathe. "Isaac. It's okay." You said softly.

Isaac let out a sigh of relief, thinking that you forgave him. "Okay good for a second I thought you were going to be mad at-"

"Just. Never talk to me again." You finished. And with that Isaac nodded and slowly left the room, leaving you to gather the broken pieces on the ground and Isaac to mend the broken pieces of his heart.
