"You bastard! What are you doing here?!" You yelled at your long lost ex-love. You smacked Landon in the chest, plummeting him with punches.
It was too much. Landon's return, the break up between you and Stiles. You couldn't handle it anymore. You busted into tears and stopped punching Landon.
"Hey hey what's wrong?" Landon cooed.
"Get. Away. From. Me." you growled.
Derek approached you. "Violet, are you okay? Where's Stiles?"
Stiles. Damn it! You regretted everything you said to him.
"Stiles? Who's Stiles?" Landon interjected.
"None of your business." You spat.
"Actually it is." Landon calmly replied.
"What do you mean? Derek?! Do you know something I don't?"
Derek sighed. "Have you ever heard of Victoria Hale?" You shook your head. Derek looked around and found a picture. He handed it to you.
It was a torn old thing. On it was a picture of a girl. You knew who it was. It looked like the same exact person in another picture that you treasured so much. Derek told you it was your-
"Grandma?" you said.
Derek shook his head. "I should've told you sooner. She isn't our grandmother. That's you Violet, in a past life."
"What? This can't be happening." But what shocked you more was when Landon pulled the other half of the picture from his pocket and connected it to the one Derek was holding.
"Scary isn't it?" Landon remarked looking at the now complete photo of Victoria and her lover.
The scary thing was that the man, Victoria's-Violet's lover looked exactly like Landon.
"I don't understand any of this." You gasped.
"The Hale and Xavier family bond has aways been strong. We have been alliances in the beginning," Derek looked at Landon. "and alliances until the end."
It all made sense now. "It was you wasn't it? Landon didn't accidentally find me. You sent him didn't you Derek? Didn't you!"
"Yes because I had to protect you and our family."
"How is this protecting me!" you snapped.
"BECAUSE." Derek roared. "OUR FAMILIES WILL PERISH IF THE XAVIER AND HALE BOND IS NOT RENEWED."
You froze in silence. "How is such a bond renewed." you whispered.
Derek sighed. "You must marry Landon, or else our family will die... and so will you."
