“ Hey Jude, don't make it bad
Take a sad song and make it better
Remember to let her into your heart
Then you can start to make it better.”
- The Beatles***
The day was sunny, the sand was warm and the leaves of palm trees were slightly swaying in the wind.
The deep blue waves were rolling on the sand, looking like sky itself had gifted earth with piece of blue sky and cotton clouds.
The real flowers that had been placed around the small place were swaying in the wind. It was packed with them roses, lilies, orchids. The whole place smelled sweet, it smelled of flowers and salty sea. An earthy and relaxing smell it was, almost euphoric.
There weren't that many people, only relatives, friends, people from work. It was private party, away from the loud city. A couple of miles away was a small horse farm where they all would be staying for the night. It looked like a fairytale, it really did.
But not Frans'.
He stood up with the rest of them as his green eyes fell on the beauty in white dress. It was classical, the long hem of it following her, reminding Frans of sea foam. Her dress matched the flowers hanging around the tables and seats. Her white hair was done up, a shiny silver headpiece glistening against the warm sun.
Her eyes were only focused on her future husband, Harold King.
Once she stood in front of Harold, her delicate hands holding his, Frans realized that they did look good together. The frown his father often wore, was gone, replaced with gentle look and soft smile.
Frans wasn't sure she was ever going to accept Eveline or her kids as family, but as long as his father was happy it was fine.
He tilted his head, it was like their fairytale, Eveline was a beauty and Harold was a selfish, greedy beast.
And perhaps Fredrick was the fairy godfather and Frans was the villain who always was followed with drama. But weren't fairytales inspired by reality? Just more twisted one could say. Nothing was really perfect like in a cliché American teen movies, but it was alright, too. The rings had been missing five minutes before the ceremony, the food had been late because they couldn't navigate, the wedding photographer had missed his flight and wasn't coming, but in the end, this made it all the more interesting. More memories, more things to laugh at.
When the last I do was said, the beach erupted in cheers and white flower petals. Even the sea seemed to cheer with them, sharing its happiness as the waves rolled over the warm sand.
And that was how Eveline May Frost became Eveline May King.
Fredrick and Annie took some time off, to focus on Fred's healing, it was very long and hard process to learn how to stand up again without falling back down. He did, he fell down many times. But there was only one way to go, he kept moving forwards.
Harold seemed to be human again, a human with emotions. Eveline and her children had adapted to rich life, the oldest of the tree kept annoying Frans but he was a tough one. Perhaps that's what Harold needed, someone that could heal him, make him whole again, make him love again.
Love. Sometimes when one has it, they can't imagine life without it. It's a fragile thing this love. Perhaps not everyone experiences it, that feeling so much stronger than any other. But once you have it, you'd do anything to feel it for the rest of your days.
Michael become a gold medalist with his strong acting skills. He became known for what he did, more likely what he signed up for. But one moment he just stopped, refused all interviews and was just off radar. Perhaps that was just Michael, someone who just looked for fun, nothing too serious, just fun of life.
Timothy never held any power over Frans in the first place. He had made it up, used manipulation, jealousy and hatred to get what he wanted. He did, he got what he wanted. His doom was greed. Once he had gotten his wish, he wanted more.
He was ashamed, everyone knew his face as it appeared in newspapers all over the world. Some said he was going mad, started screaming and spitting at everyone. He never left his house, kept to himself and locked himself up for days.Until one day he was gone. He had followed his sister to heaven with a rope around his neck.
That left Martha alone in a huge house with four kids, Timothy's kids.
Frans had offered his help, money to keep food on their table and the kids healthy. Even Viktoria offered her help, and Viktor who tried to sneak off every time someone mentioned cleaning.
Him and Thea stayed just friends, sometimes it's better that way.Marvel stayed though, he said he never wanted another job, so he was still Frans' bodyguard. Frans didn't quit his job, he just took some time off as well, let Marvel visit his daughter.
Life couldn't get any better for Frans. He felt free, finally.
And that's how one book in Frans King's life ended. After all, every ending, is the beginning of something new.

That's all folks. If there's someone who actually enjoyed this book and red it from the very beginning:
