The morning alarm blasted loudly through your phone speaker. All together you had had 3 hours sleep. You groaned as you turned over to switch the siren sound off, you noticed a text message, you guessed from the man last night because the number wasn't saved into your contacts. You swiped it open.

I'm sorry.

You put your phone back down. You didn't know this man, he rang you by accident, you weren't about to start a conversation up with him again about his inability to let go of a girl that obviously didn't want him. Shaking your head, you climbed out of bed and got dressed for work, when you heard a text chime through on your phone.

Also thank you for talking some sense into me. It's more than any of my friends have done.

You sighed looking at the message, confused whether you should reply to it or not. Annoyed with yourself over how much you were over thinking, you typed a reply.

My friends were never there for me either. They can't be great friends then.

You hit send, with a worry nagging at the back of your mind that your message was too forward or rude. But you didn't know this man, you will never know this man, so why the hell should you care.
