Chapter 3

I raised my left hand to his throat, I felt an energy flowing through me, to my hand, I had never felt it before. I didn't know exactly what I was doing but something inside me told me it was right to do this, whatever I was doing sent an energy through my body to my hand. It was a warm energy, a slight hint of evil lurked inside it, but it was warming my arm it definitely wasn't pleasant, it was hot, making me sweat, it was an evil and hot energy flowing through my veins. I looked the worker dead in the eye as- "MERIDION NO!!" Espérer screamed, just a second too late. A flaming magical power shot from my hands sending heat and fire to the meal worker, burning him to an ash. Suddenly a piercing stab, like a large syringe, stabbed my back, making me pass out.

*about 3-4 hours later, while passed out, Meridion got moved to a different building, that the workers had only ever seen the outside of*

I woke up in an enigma of a building I'd never been in before. It was large and had intricately decorative turquoise and gray walls and 20ft tall elaborate golden doors on the right side wall with turquoise paintings on them. There was a bed table next to me, it had a full meal on it, chicken tenders, fries, 4 different dipping sauces, a glass of water, and a chocolate chip cookie. Right when I was about to dig in I realized where I was and what might happen if I ate. I was in the Grand Master's tower, if I ate the food could be poisoned, I could die this was bad why was I here and not in the offender dungeons, what was going on? I looked around I was in a navy blue and turquoise king sized bed, with gold lining. The pillows had the same tie-dye gold lining decoration. I continued to examine the room, there were two gray recliner chairs by the gently burning fireplace, and there was a huge turquoise couch, there was a turquoise and white designer rug covering the whole floor, I was in silk turquoise pajamas, there were turquoise slippers to the left of my giant bed. I was in the middle of trying to understand why everything was turquoise when the giant gold doors started to open.
