DINAH'S POV

" Aye D! " I heard as I was walking down the hallway of Portland Trailblazers training building. "Wassup man" I said turning around to give Damian a handshake "Nothin' bro me and Kay'la were going out and she knows you got a new one and she thought she would teach her some of the ropes to being an NBA wife or girlfriend" he said as we walked to my car

"Dame you know I don't bring her around because we four months in man, something may happen, I ain't tryna be caught up in drama with another woman. Coach is still on my ass about Cenaya" I leaned against my car folding my arms

"She is fine with that?" He said raising his eyebrow "I see she is trying to be excepting of it but its hard. She gets mad when I don't turn down after party events and shit, but she tries" I just shrugged
"So yes or no? I mean if you ask me this is better because she will feel like she is a part of your Basketball life in some way, like you are not ashamed to be dating her" he said.

I thought about it and he was sort of right, and maybe she won't be on my ass so much about being away. "Ok we'll be there, text me where y'all gon be" I said turning around giving him a hand shake and unlocking my car

KAMILA'S POV

I'm walking into Thicker Inc. And I see my Nani "Nani!" I yell excited that she is back. She and poppy have been on a business trip for three months. "Hi baby! How are you? I missed my luvbug" she said giving me kisses all over my face.

"I'm good, we reached 100K on our YouTube channel yesterday and we are planning to have a sleepover tonight to celebrate. How is poppy?"

"Well isn't that exciting. You grandfather is fine, we split up at the airport so he is home now. "

Me and my grandma have been close since day one, I can tell her anything. So I plan to ask her about my dad. "Oh. Umm Nani?"

"Yes baby"

"Can we talk in private?" I asked getting anxious.

"Of course baby, Samuel get my bags and take them to the car I will be out in a minute" She said as we walked into her office. She sat down and then looked at me expectantly and I let it out. My grandma has a way of doing that.

"I want to know my dad" I said hoping she wouldn't get mad, but when she looked up she looked heartbroken as if I'd just told her poppy died. She looked at me a bit longer then picked up her phone dailed a number and put the phone to her ear.

"She wants to know" Was all she said before hanging up.
